	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
the cause	רִ֨יב	rîb	reev
of my reproach	חֶרְפָּתִ֜י	ḥerpâ	her-PA
from the hand	מִיַּ֣ד	yād	yahd
of Nabal,	נָבָ֗ל	nābāl	na-VAHL
	וְאֶת	ʾēt	ate
his servant	עַבְדּוֹ֙	ʿebed	eh-VED
and hath kept	חָשַׂ֣ךְ	ḥāśak	ha-SAHK
from evil:	מֵֽרָעָ֔ה	raʿ	ra
	וְאֵת֙	ʾēt	ate
the wickedness	רָעַ֣ת	raʿ	ra
of Nabal	נָבָ֔ל	nābāl	na-VAHL
hath returned	הֵשִׁ֥יב	šûb	shoov
for the Lord	יְהוָ֖ה	yĕhōwâ	yeh-hoh-VA
upon his own head.	בְּרֹאשׁ֑וֹ	rōš	rohsh
sent	וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח	šālaḥ	sha-LAHK
And David	דָּוִד֙	dāwid	da-VEED
and communed	וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר	dābar	da-VAHR
with Abigail,	בַּֽאֲבִיגַ֔יִל	ʾăbîgayil	uh-vee-ɡa-YEEL
to take	לְקַחְתָּ֥הּ	lāqaḥ	la-KAHK
	ל֖וֹ
her to him to wife.	לְאִשָּֽׁה׃	ʾiššâ	ee-SHA
