1 Now it happened on the second Sabbath after the first, that he was going through the grain fields. His disciples plucked the heads of grain, and ate, rubbing them in their hands.ఒక విశ్రాంతిదినమున ఆయన పంటచేలలోబడి వెళ్లు చుండగా, ఆయన శిష్యులు వెన్నులు త్రుంచి, చేతులతో నలుపుకొని, తినుచుండిరి.

2 But some of the Pharisees said to them, "Why do you do that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbath day?"అప్పుడు పరిసయ్యులలో కొందరువిశ్రాంతిదినమున చేయదగనిది మీరెందుకు చేయుచున్నారని వారినడుగగా

3 Jesus, answering them, said, "Haven't you read what David did when he was hungry, he, and those who were with him;యేసు వారితో ఇట్ల నెనుతానును తనతో కూడ ఉన్నవారును ఆకలిగొని నప్పుడు దావీదు ఏమిచేసెనో అదియైనను మీరు చదువ లేదా?

4 how he entered into the house of God, and took and ate the show bread, and gave also to those who were with him, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests alone?"అతడు దేవుని మందిరములో ప్రవేశించి, యాజ కులు తప్ప మరి ఎవరును తినకూడని సముఖపు రొట్టెలు తీసికొని తిని, తనతో కూడ ఉన్నవారికిని ఇచ్చెను గదా అనెను.

5 He said to them, "The Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath."కాగామనుష్యకుమారుడు విశ్రాంతిదినమున కును యజమానుడని వారితో చెప్పెను.

6 It also happened on another Sabbath that he entered into the synagogue and taught. There was a man there, and his right hand was withered.మరియొక విశ్రాంతిదినమున ఆయన సమాజమందిరము లోనికి వెళ్లి బోధించుచున్నప్పుడు, అక్కడ ఊచ కుడి చెయ్యిగలవాడొకడుండెను.

7 The scribes and the Pharisees watched him, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against him.శాస్త్రులును పరిసయ్యులును ఆయనమీద నేరము మోపవలెనని, విశ్రాంతిదినమున స్వస్థ పరచునేమో అని ఆయనను కనిపెట్టుచుండిరి;

8 But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man who had the withered hand, "Rise up, and stand in the middle." He arose and stood.అయితే ఆయన వారి ఆలోచన లెరిగి, ఊచచెయ్యిగలవానితోనీవు లేచి మధ్యను నిలువుమని చెప్పగా, వాడు లేచి నిలి చెను.

9 Then Jesus said to them, "I will ask you something: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?"అప్పుడు యేసువిశ్రాంతిదినమున మేలుచేయుట ధర్మమా కీడుచేయుట ధర్మమా? ప్రాణరక్షణ ధర్మమా ప్రాణ హత్య ధర్మమా? అని మిమ్ము నడుగుచున్నానని వారితో చెప్పి

10 He looked around at them all, and said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He did, and his hand was restored as sound as the other.వారినందరిని చుట్టు కలయజూచినీ చెయ్యి చాపుమని వానితో చెప్పెను; వాడాలాగు చేయగానే వాని చెయ్యి బాగుపడెను.

11 But they were filled with rage, and talked with one another about what they might do to Jesus.అప్పుడు వారు వెఱ్ఱికోప ముతో నిండుకొని, యేసును ఏమి చేయు దమా అని యొకనితోనొకడు మాటలాడుకొనిరి.

12 It happened in these days, that he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.ఆ దినములయందు ఆయన ప్రార్థనచేయుటకు కొండకు వెళ్లి, దేవుని ప్రార్థించుటయందు రాత్రి గడిపెను.

13 When it was day, he called his disciples, and from them he chose twelve, whom he also named apostles:ఉదయమైనప్పుడు ఆయన తన శిష్యులను పిలిచి, వారిలో పండ్రెండుమందిని ఏర్పరచి, వారికి అపొస్తలులు అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

14 Simon, whom he also named Peter; Andrew, his brother; James; John; Philip; Bartholomew;వీరెవరనగా ఆయన ఎవనికి పేతురు అను మారుపేరు పెట్టెనో ఆ సీమోను, అతని సహోదరుడైన అంద్రెయ, యాకోబు, యోహాను, ఫిలిప్పు, బర్తొలొ మయి,

15 Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Simon, who was called the Zealot;మత్తయి, తోమా, అల్ఫయి కుమారుడైన యాకోబు, జెలోతే1 అనబడిన సీమోను,

16 Judas the son of James; and Judas Iscariot, who also became a traitor.యాకోబు సహోదరుడైన యూదా, ద్రోహియగు ఇస్కరియోతు యూదా అను వారు.

17 He came down with them, and stood on a level place, with a crowd of his disciples, and a great number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases;ఆయన వారితో కూడ దిగివచ్చి మైదానమందు నిలిచినప్పుడు ఆయన శిష్యుల గొప్ప సమూహమును, ఆయన బోధ వినుటకును తమ రోగములను కుదుర్చుకొనుట కును యూదయ దేశమంతటినుండియు, యెరూషలేము నుండియు, తూరు సీదోనను పట్టణముల సముద్ర తీరముల నుండియు వచ్చిన బహుజనసమూహ మును,

18 as well as those who were troubled by unclean spirits, and they were being healed.అపవిత్రాత్మల చేత బాధింపబడినవారును వచ్చి స్వస్థతనొందిరి.

19 All the multitude sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all.ప్రభా వము ఆయనలోనుండి బయలుదేరి అందరిని స్వస్థపరచు చుండెను గనుక జనసమూహమంతయు ఆయనను ముట్ట వలెనని యత్నముచేసెను.

20 He lifted up his eyes to his disciples, and said, "Blessed are you who are poor, For yours is the Kingdom of God.అంతట ఆయన తన శిష్యులతట్టు పారచూచి ఇట్లనెను బీదలైన మీరు ధన్యులు, దేవునిరాజ్యము మీది.

21 Blessed are you who hunger now, For you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, For you will laugh.ఇప్పుడు అకలిగొనుచున్న మీరు ధన్యులు, మీరు తృప్తి పరచబడుదురు. ఇప్పుడు ఏడ్చుచున్న మీరు ధన్యులు, మీరు నవ్వుదురు.

22 Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man's sake.మనుష్యకుమారుని నిమి త్తము మను ష్యులు మిమ్మును ద్వేషించి వెలివేసి నిందించి మీ పేరు చెడ్డదని కొట్టివేయునప్పుడు మీరు ధన్యులు.

23 Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven, for their fathers did the same thing to the prophets.ఆ దిన మందు మీరు సంతోషించి గంతులు వేయుడి; ఇదిగో మీ ఫలము పరలోకమందు గొప్పదై యుండును; వారి పిత రులు ప్రవక్తలకు అదే విధముగా చేసిరి.

24 "But woe to you who are rich! For you have received your consolation.అయ్యో, ధన వంతులారా, మీరు (కోరిన) ఆదరణ మీరు పొంది యున్నారు.

25 Woe to you, you who are full now! For you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now! For you will mourn and weep.అయ్యో యిప్పుడు (కడుపు) నిండియున్న వారలారా, మీరాకలిగొందురు. అయ్యో యిప్పుడు నవ్వుచున్నవారలారా, మీరు దుఃఖించి యేడ్తురు.

26 Woe,{TR adds "to you"} when{TR adds "all"} men speak well of you! For their fathers did the same thing to the false prophets.మనుష్యులందరు మిమ్మును కొనియాడునప్పుడు మీకు శ్రమ; వారి పితరులు అబద్ధప్రవక్తలకు అదే విధముగా చేసిరి.

27 "But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,వినుచున్న మీతో నేను చెప్పునదేమనగామీ శత్రు వులను ప్రేమించుడి, మిమ్మును ద్వేషించువారికి మేలు చేయుడి,

28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.మిమ్మును శపించువారిని దీవించుడి, మిమ్మును బాధించువారికొరకు ప్రార్థనచేయుడి.

29 To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him who takes away your cloak, don't withhold your coat also.నిన్ను ఒక చెంప మీద కొట్టువాని వైపునకు రెండవ చెంపకూడ త్రిప్పుము. నీ పైబట్ట ఎత్తికొని పోవువానిని, నీ అంగీని కూడ ఎత్తి కొనిపోకుండ అడ్డగింపకుము.

30 Give to everyone who asks you, and don't ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.నిన్నడుగు ప్రతివానికిని ఇమ్ము; నీ సొత్తు ఎత్తికొని పోవు వానియొద్ద దాని మరల అడుగవద్దు.

31 "As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them.మనుష్యులు మీకేలాగు చేయవలెనని మీరు కోరుదురో ఆలాగు మీరును వారికి చేయుడి.

32 If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.మిమ్మును ప్రేమించువారినే మీరు ప్రేమించినయెడల మీకేమి మెప్పు కలుగును? పాపులును తమ్మును ప్రేమించు వారిని ప్రేమింతురు గదా

33 If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.మీకు మేలు చేయువారికే మేలు చేసినయెడల మీకేమి మెప్పుకలుగును? పాపులును ఆలాగే చేతురు గదా

34 If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much.మీరెవరియొద్ద మరల పుచ్చుకొనవలెనని నిరీక్షింతురో వారికే అప్పు ఇచ్చినయెడల మీకేమి మెప్పు కలుగును? పాపులును తామిచ్చినంత మరల పుచ్చుకొన వలెనని పాపులకు అప్పు ఇచ్చెదరు గదా.

35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.మీరైతే ఎట్టి వారిని గూర్చి యైనను నిరాశ చేసికొనక మీ శత్రువులను ప్రేమించుడి, మేలుచేయుడి, అప్పు ఇయ్యుడి; అప్పుడు మీ ఫలము గొప్పదైయుండును, మీరు సర్వోన్నతుని కుమారులై యుందురు. ఆయన, కృతజ్ఞతలేనివారియెడ లను దుష్టులయెడలను ఉపకారియై యున్నాడు.

36 Therefore be merciful, Even as your Father is also merciful.కాబట్టి మీ తండ్రి కనికరముగలవాడై యున్నట్టు మీరును కని కరముగలవారై యుండుడి.

37 Don't judge, And you won't be judged. Don't condemn, And you won't be condemned. Set free, And you will be set free.తీర్పు తీర్చకుడి, అప్పుడు మిమ్మును గూర్చి తీర్పు తీర్చబడదు; నేరము మోపకుడి, అప్పుడు మీ మీద నేరము మోపబడదు;

38 "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you.{literally, into your bosom.} For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you."క్షమించుడి, అప్పుడు మీరు క్షమింపబడుదురు; ఇయ్యుడి, అప్పుడు మీకియ్యబడును; అణచి, కుదిలించి, దిగజారునట్లు నిండు కొలతను మనుష్యులు మీ ఒడిలో కొలుతురు. మీరు ఏ కొలతతో కొలుతురో ఆ కొలతతోనే మీకు మరల కొలువబడునని చెప్పెను.

39 He spoke a parable to them. "Can the blind guide the blind? Won't they both fall into a pit?మరియు ఆయన వారితో ఈ ఉపమానము చెప్పెనుగ్రుడ్డివాడు గ్రుడ్డివానికి దారి చూపగలడా? వారిద్దరును గుంటలో పడుదురు గదా.

40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.శిష్యుడు తన బోధకునికంటె అధికుడు కాడు; సిద్ధుడైన ప్రతివాడును తన బోధకునివలె ఉండును.

41 Why do you see the speck of chaff that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?నీవు నీ కంటిలో ఉన్న దూలము ఎంచక నీ సహోదరుని కంటిలో ఉన్న నలుసును చూడనేల?

42 Or how can you tell your brother, 'Brother, let me remove the speck of chaff that is in your eye,' when you yourself don't see the beam that is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck of chaff that is in your brother's eye.నీ కంటిలో ఉన్న దూలమును చూడక నీ సహోదరునితోసహోదరుడా, నీ కంటిలో ఉన్న నలుసును తీసివేయ నిమ్మని నీవేలాగు చెప్ప గలవు? వేషధారీ, మొదట నీ కంటిలో ఉన్న దూల మును తీసివేయుము, అప్పుడు నీ సహోదరుని కంటిలో ఉన్న నలుసును తీసివేయుటకు నీకు తేటగా కనబడును.

43 For there is no good tree that brings forth rotten fruit; nor again a rotten tree that brings forth good fruit.ఏ మంచి చెట్టునను పనికిమాలిన ఫల ములు ఫలింపవు, పనికిమాలిన చెట్టున మంచి ఫలములు ఫలింపవు.

44 For each tree is known by its own fruit. For people don't gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.ప్రతి చెట్టు తన ఫలములవలన తెలియబడును. ముండ్లపొదలో అంజూరపు పండ్లు ఏరుకొనరు; కోరింద పొదలో ద్రాక్షపండ్లు కోయరు.

45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.సజ్జనుడు, తన హృద యమను మంచి ధననిధిలోనుండి సద్విషయములను బయ టికి తెచ్చును; దుర్జనుడు చెడ్డ ధననిధిలోనుండి దుర్విషయ ములను బయటికి తెచ్చును. హృదయము నిండియుండు దానినిబట్టి యొకని నోరు మాటలాడును.

46 "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and don't do the things which I say?నేను చెప్పు మాటలప్రకారము మీరు చేయక ప్రభువా ప్రభువా, అని నన్ను పిలుచుట ఎందుకు?

47 Everyone who comes to me, and hears my words, and does them, I will show you who he is like.నా యొద్దకు వచ్చి, నా మాటలు విని వాటిచొప్పున చేయు ప్రతివాడును ఎవని పోలియుండునో మీకు తెలియ జేతును.

48 He is like a man building a house, who dug and went deep, and laid a foundation on the rock. When a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it was founded on the rock.వాడు ఇల్లు కట్టవలెనని యుండి లోతుగా త్రవ్వి, బండమీద పునాది వేసినవాని పోలి యుండును. వరదవచ్చి ప్రవాహము ఆ యింటిమీద వడిగా కొట్టినను, అది బాగుగా కట్టబడినందున2 దాని కదలింపలేకపోయెను.

49 But he who hears, and doesn't do, is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great."అయితే నా మాటలు వినియు చేయనివాడు పునాది వేయక నేలమీద ఇల్లు కట్టిన వానిని పోలియుండును. ప్రవాహము దానిమీద వడిగా కొట్టగానే అది కూలి పడెను; ఆ యింటిపాటు గొప్ప దని చెప్పెన
