తరువాత యూదావంశస్థులు మన్యములయందును దక్షిణదేశమందును లోయయందును నివసించిన కనానీయు లతో యుద్ధము చేయుటకు పోయిరి.

| dwelt that | יוֹשֵׁ֣ב | yôšēb | yoh-SHAVE |
| in the mountain, | הָהָ֔ר | hāhār | ha-HAHR |
| south, the in and | וְהַנֶּ֖גֶב | wĕhannegeb | veh-ha-NEH-ɡev |
| and in the valley. | וְהַשְּׁפֵלָֽה׃ | wĕhaššĕpēlâ | veh-ha-sheh-fay-LA |
