యూదా వంశములో తప్పించు కొనిన శేషము ఇంకను క్రిందికి వేరు తన్ని మీదికి ఎదిగి ఫలించును.

| take root | שֹׁ֣רֶשׁ | šōreš | SHOH-resh |
| downward, | לְמָ֑טָּה | lĕmāṭṭâ | leh-MA-ta |
| and bear | וְעָשָׂ֥ה | wĕʿāśâ | veh-ah-SA |
| fruit | פְרִ֖י | pĕrî | feh-REE |
| upward: | לְמָֽעְלָה׃ | lĕmāʿĕlâ | leh-MA-eh-la |
