యూదా వారు అరణ్యమందున్న కాపరుల దుర్గము దగ్గరకు వచ్చి సైన్యముతట్టు చూడగా వారు శవములై నేలపడియుండిరి, ఒకడును తప్పించుకొనలేదు.

| and, behold, | וְהִנָּ֧ם | wĕhinnām | veh-hee-NAHM |
| they were dead bodies | פְּגָרִ֛ים | pĕgārîm | peh-ɡa-REEM |
| fallen | נֹֽפְלִ֥ים | nōpĕlîm | noh-feh-LEEM |
| to the earth, | אַ֖רְצָה | ʾarṣâ | AR-tsa |
