1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?ఆలాగైన ఏమందుము? కృప విస్తరింపవలెనని పాప మందు నిలిచియుందుమా?

2 May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?అట్లనరాదు. పాపము విషయమై చనిపోయిన మనము ఇకమీదట ఏలాగు దానిలో జీవించుదుము?

3 Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?క్రీస్తు యేసులోనికి బాప్తిస్మము పొందిన మనమందరము ఆయన మరణములోనికి బాప్తిస్మము పొందితిమని మీరెరుగరా?

4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.కాబట్టి తండ్రి మహిమవలన క్రీస్తు మృతులలోనుండి యేలాగు లేపబడెనో, ఆలాగే మనమును నూతనజీవము పొందినవారమై నడుచుకొనునట్లు, మనము బాప్తిస్మమువలన మరణములో పాలు పొందుటకై ఆయనతోకూడ పాతిపెట్టబడితివిు.

5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;మరియు ఆయన మరణముయొక్క సాదృశ్యమందు ఆయనతో ఐక్యముగలవారమైన యెడల, ఆయన పునరుత్థా నముయొక్క సాదృశ్యమందును ఆయనతో ఐక్యముగల వారమై యుందుము.

6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.ఏమనగా మనమికను పాపమునకు దాసులము కాకుండుటకు పాపశరీరము నిరర్థకమగునట్లు, మన ప్రాచీన స్వభావము ఆయనతోకూడ సిలువవేయ బడెనని యెరుగుదుము.

7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.చనిపోయినవాడు పాపవిముక్తు డనితీర్పుపొందియున్నాడు.

8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him;మనము క్రీస్తుతోకూడ చనిపోయిన యెడల, మృతులలోనుండి లేచిన క్రీస్తు ఇకను చనిపోడనియు,

9 knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him!మరణమునకు ఇకను ఆయనమీద ప్రభుత్వము లేదనియు ఎరిగి, ఆయనతోకూడ జీవించుదుమని నమ్ముచున్నాము.

10 For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.ఏలయనగా ఆయన చనిపోవుట చూడగా, పాపము విషయమై, ఒక్కమారే చనిపోయెను గాని ఆయన జీవించుట చూడగా, దేవుని విషయమై జీవించుచున్నాడు

11 Thus also consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.అటువలె మీరును పాపము విషయమై మృతులుగాను, దేవుని విషయమై క్రీస్తుయేసు నందు సజీవులుగాను మిమ్మును మీరే యెంచుకొనుడి.

12 Therefore don't let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.కాబట్టి శరీర దురాశలకు లోబడునట్లుగా చావునకు లోనైన మీ శరీరమందు పాపమును ఏలనియ్యకుడి.

13 Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.మరియు మీ అవయవములను దుర్నీతి సాధనములుగా పాపమునకు అప్పగింపకుడి, అయితే మృతులలోనుండి సజీవులమనుకొని, మిమ్మును మీరే దేవునికి అప్పగించు కొనుడి, మీ అవయవములను నీతిసాధనములుగా దేవునికి అప్పగించుడి.

14 For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.మీరు కృపకే గాని ధర్మశాస్త్రమునకు లోనైనవారు కారు గనుక పాపము మీ మీద ప్రభుత్వము చేయదు.

15 What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? May it never be!అట్లయినయెడల కృపకే గాని ధర్మశాస్త్రమునకు లోనగువారము కామని పాపము చేయుదమా? అదెన్న టికిని కూడదు.

16 Don't you know that to whom you present yourselves as servants to obedience, his servants you are whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?లోబడుటకు దేనికి మిమ్మును మీరు దాసులుగా అప్పగించుకొందురో, అది చావు నిమిత్తముగా పాపమునకే గాని, నీతి నిమిత్తముగా విధేయతకే గాని దేనికి మీరు లోబడుదురో దానికే దాసులగుదురని మీరెరుగరా?

17 But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto you were delivered.మీరు పాపమునకు దాసులై యుంటిరిగాని యే ఉపదేశక్రమమునకు మీరు అప్పగింపబడితిరో, దానికి హృదయపూర్వకముగా లోబడినవారై,

18 Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness.పాపమునుండి విమోచింపబడి నీతికి దాసులైతిరి; ఇందుకు దేవునికి స్తోత్రము.

19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.మీ శరీర బలహీనతను బట్టి మనుష్య రీతిగా మాటలాడుచున్నాను; ఏమనగా అక్రమము చేయుటకై, అపవిత్రతకును అక్రమమునకును మీ అవయవములను దాసులుగా ఏలాగు అప్ప గించితిరో, ఆలాగే పరిశుద్ధత కలుగుటకై యిప్పుడు మీ అవయవములను నీతికి దాసులుగా అప్పగించుడి.

20 For when you were servants of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.మీరు పాపమునకు దాసులై యున్నప్పుడు నీతివిషయమై నిర్బంధము లేనివారై యుంటిరి.

21 What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.అప్పటి క్రియలవలన మీకేమి ఫలము కలిగెను? వాటినిగురించి మీరిప్పుడు సిగ్గుపడుచున్నారు కారా? వాటి అంతము మరణమే,

22 But now, being made free from sin, and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification, and the result of eternal life.అయినను ఇప్పుడు పాపమునుండి విమోచింపబడి దేవునికి దాసులైనందున పరిశుద్ధత కలుగుటయే మీకు ఫలము; దాని అంతము నిత్యజీవము.

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.ఏలయనగా పాపమువలన వచ్చు జీతము మరణము, అయితే దేవుని కృపావరము మన ప్రభువైన క్రీస్తుయేసునందు నిత్య జీవము.
