Proverbs 27 - ASV (Telugu)

1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; For thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.రేపటి దినమునుగూర్చి అతిశయపడకుము ఏ దినమున ఏది సంభవించునో అది నీకు తెలియదు.

2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; A stranger, and not thine own lips.నీ నోరు కాదు అన్యుడే, నీ పెదవులు కాదు పరులే నిన్ను పొగడదగును.

3 A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; But a fool's vexation is heavier than they both.రాయి బరువు ఇసుక భారము మూఢుని కోపము ఆ రెంటికంటె బరువు.

4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is overwhelming; But who is able to stand before jealousy?క్రోధము క్రూరమైనది కోపము వరదవలె పొర్లునది. రోషము ఎదుట ఎవడు నిలువగలడు?

5 Better is open rebuke Than love that is hidden.లోలోపల ప్రేమించుటకంటె బహిరంగముగా గద్దించుట మేలు

6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; But the kisses of an enemy are profuse.మేలును కోరి స్నేహితుడు గాయములు చేయును పగవాడు లెక్కలేని ముద్దులుపెట్టును.

7 The full soul loatheth a honeycomb; But to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.కడుపు నిండినవాడు తేనెపట్టునైనను త్రొక్కి వేయును. ఆకలిగొనినవానికి చేదువస్తువైనను తియ్యగా నుండును.

8 As a bird that wandereth from her nest, So is a man that wandereth from his place.తన యిల్లు విడిచి తిరుగువాడు గూడు విడిచి తిరుగు పక్షితో సమానుడు.

9 Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; So doth the sweetness of a man's friend `that cometh' of hearty counsel.తైలమును అత్తరును హృదయమును సంతోషపరచు నట్లు చెలికాని హృదయములోనుండి వచ్చు మధురమైన మాటలు హృదయమును సంతోషపరచును.

10 Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; And go not to thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: Better is a neighbor that is near than a brother far off.నీ స్నేహితునినైనను నీ తండ్రి స్నేహితునైనను విడిచి పెట్టకుము నీకు అపద కలిగిన దినమందు నీ సహోదరుని యింటికి వెళ్లకుము దూరములోనున్న సహోదరునికంటె దగ్గరనున్న పొరుగువాడు వాసి,

11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, That I may answer him that reproacheth me.నా కుమారుడా, జ్ఞానమును సంపాదించి నా హృద యమును సంతోషపరచుము. అప్పుడు నన్ను నిందించువారితో నేను ధైర్యముగా మాటలాడుదును.

12 A prudent man seeth the evil, `and' hideth himself; `But' the simple pass on, `and' suffer for it.బుద్ధిమంతుడు అపాయము వచ్చుట చూచి దాగును జ్ఞానములేనివారు యోచింపక ఆపదలో పడుదురు.

13 Take his garment that is surety for a stranger; And hold him in pledge `that is surety' for a foreign woman.ఎదుటివానికొరకు పూటబడినవాని వస్త్రము పుచ్చు కొనుము పరులకొరకు పూటబడినవానివలన కుదువపెట్టించుము.

14 He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, It shall be counted a curse to him.వేకువనే లేచి గొప్ప శబ్దముతో తన స్నేహితుని దీవించువాని దీవెన వానికి శాపముగా ఎంచ బడును.

15 A continual dropping in a very rainy day And a contentious woman are alike:ముసురు దినమున ఎడతెగక కారు నీళ్లును గయ్యాళియైన భార్యయు సమానము

16 He that would restrain her restraineth the wind; And his right hand encountereth oil.దానిని ఆపజూచువాడు గాలిని అపజూచువాని తోను తన కుడిచేత నూనె పట్టుకొనువానితోను సమా నుడు.

17 Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.ఇనుముచేత ఇనుము పదునగును అట్లు ఒకడు తన చెలికానికి వివేకము పుట్టించును.

18 Whoso keepeth the fig-tree shall eat the fruit thereof; And he that regardeth his master shall be honored.అంజూరపు చెట్టును పెంచువాడు దాని ఫలము తినును తన యజమానుని మన్నించువాడు ఘనతనొందును.

19 As in water face `answereth' to face, So the heart of man to man.నీటిలో ముఖమునకు ముఖము కనబడునట్లు ఒకని మనస్సునకు మరియొకని మనస్సు కనబడును.

20 Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied; And the eyes of man are never satisfied.పాతాళమునకును అగాధ కూపమునకును తృప్తి కానే రదు ఆలాగున నరుల దృష్టి తృప్తికానేరదు.

21 The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold; And a man is `tried' by his praise.మూసచేత వెండిని కొలిమి చేత బంగారును తాను పొందిన కీర్తిచేత నరుని పరిశోధింపవచ్చును.

22 Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with bruised grain, Yet will not his foolishness depart from him.మూఢుని రోటిలోని గోధుమలలో వేసి రోకట దంచినను వాని మూఢత వాని వదలిపోదు.

23 Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, `And' look well to thy herds:నీ పశువుల స్థితి జాగ్రత్తగా తెలిసికొనుము నీ మందలయందు మనస్సు ఉంచుము.

24 For riches are not for ever: And doth the crown endure unto all generations?ధనము శాశ్వతము కాదు కిరీటము తరతరములు ఉండునా?

25 The hay is carried, and the tender grass showeth itself, And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in.ఎండిన గడ్డి వామివేయబడెను పచ్చిక కనబడు చున్నది కొండగడ్డి యేరబడియున్నది

26 The lambs are for thy clothing, And the goats are the price of the field;నీ వస్త్రములకొరకు గొఱ్ఱపిల్లలున్నవి ఒక చేని క్రయధనమునకు పొట్టేళ్లు సరిపోవును

27 And `there will be' goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, And maintenance for thy maidens.నీ ఆహారమునకు నీ యింటివారి ఆహారమునకు నీ పనికత్తెల జీవనమునకు మేకపాలు సమృద్ధియగును.
