Proverbs 25 - ASV (Telugu)

1 These also are proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.ఇవియును సొలొమోను సామెతలే యూదారాజైన హిజ్కియా సేవకులు వీటిని ఎత్తి వ్రాసిరి.

2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.సంగతి మరుగుచేయుట దేవునికి ఘనత సంగతి శోధించుట రాజులకు ఘనత.

3 As the heavens for height, and the earth for depth, So the heart of kings is unsearchable.ఆకాశముల యెత్తును భూమి లోతును రాజుల అభిప్రాయమును అగోచరములు.

4 Take away the dross from the silver, And there cometh forth a vessel for the refiner:వెండిలోని మష్టు తీసివేసినయెడల పుటము వేయువాడు పాత్రయొకటి సిద్ధపరచును.

5 Take away the wicked `from' before the king, And his throne shall be established in righteousness.రాజు ఎదుటనుండి దుష్టులను తొలగించినయెడల అతని సింహాసనము నీతివలన స్థిరపరచబడును.

6 Put not thyself forward in the presence of the king, And stand not in the place of great men:రాజు ఎదుట డంబము చూపకుము గొప్పవారున్న చోట నిలువకుము.

7 For better is it that it be said unto thee, Come up hither, Than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince, Whom thine eyes have seen.నీ కన్నులు చూచిన ప్రధానియెదుట ఒకడు నిన్ను తగ్గించుటకంటె ఇక్కడికి ఎక్కి రమ్మని అతడు నీతో చెప్పుట నీకు మేలు గదా.

8 Go not forth hastily to strive, Lest `thou know not' what to do in the end thereof, When thy neighbor hath put thee to shame.ఆలోచన లేక వ్యాజ్యెమాడుటకు పోకుము నీ పొరుగువాడు నిన్ను అవమానపరచిదాని అంత మున ఇక నీవేమి చేయుదువని నీతో అనునేమో.

9 Debate thy cause with thy neighbor `himself', And disclose not the secret of another;నీ పొరుగువానితో నీవు వ్యాజ్యెమాడవచ్చును గాని పరునిగుట్టు బయటపెట్టకుము.

10 Lest he that heareth it revile thee, And thine infamy turn not away.బయటపెట్టినయెడల వినువాడు నిన్ను అవమానపరచు నేమో అందువలన నీకు కలిగిన అపకీర్తి యెన్నటికిని పోకుం డును.

11 A word fitly spoken Is `like' apples of gold in network of silver.సమయోచితముగా పలుకబడిన మాట చిత్రమైన వెండి పళ్లెములలో నుంచబడిన బంగారు పండ్లవంటిది.

12 `As' an ear-ring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, `So is' a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.బంగారు కర్ణభూషణమెట్టిదో అపరంజి ఆభరణ మెట్టిదో వినువాని చెవికి జ్ఞానముగల ఉపదేశకుడు అట్టివాడు.

13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, `So is' a faithful messenger to them that send him; For he refresheth the soul of his masters.నమ్మకమైన దూత తనను పంపువారికి కోతకాలపు మంచు చల్లదనమువంటివాడు వాడు తన యజమానుల హృదయమును తెప్పరిల్ల జేయును.

14 `As' clouds and wind without rain, `So is' he that boasteth himself of his gifts falsely.కపటమనస్సుతో దానమిచ్చి డంబము చేయువాడు వర్షములేని మబ్బును గాలిని పోలియున్నాడు.

15 By long forbearing is a ruler persuaded, And a soft tongue breaketh the bone.దీర్ఘశాంతముచేత న్యాయాధిపతిని ఒప్పించ వచ్చును సాత్వికమైన నాలుక యెముకలను నలుగగొట్టును.

16 Hast thou found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for thee, Lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it.తేనె కనుగొంటివా? తగినంతమట్టుకే త్రాగుము అధికముగా త్రాగినయెడల కక్కి వేయుదువేమో

17 Let thy foot be seldom in thy neighbor's house, Lest he be weary of thee, and hate thee.మాటిమాటికి నీ పొరుగువాని యింటికి వెళ్లకుము అతడు నీవలన విసికి నిన్ను ద్వేషించునేమో.

18 A man that beareth false witness against his neighbor Is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.తన పొరుగువానిమీద కూటసాక్ష్యము పలుకువాడు సమ్మెటను ఖడ్గమును వాడిగల అంబును పోలినవాడు.

19 Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble Is `like' a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.శ్రమకాలములో విశ్వాసఘాతకుని ఆశ్రయించుట విరిగిన పళ్లతోను కీలు వసిలిన కాలుతోను సమానము.

20 `As' one that taketh off a garment in cold weather, `and as' vinegar upon soda, So is he that singeth songs to a heavy heart.దుఃఖచిత్తునికి పాటలు వినుపించువాడు చలిదినమున పైబట్ట తీసివేయువానితోను సురేకారముమీద చిరకపోయువానితోను సమానుడు.

21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:నీ పగవాడు ఆకలిగొనినయెడల వానికి భోజనము పెట్టుము దప్పిగొనినయెడల వానికి దాహమిమ్ము

22 For thou wilt heap coals of fire upon his head, And Jehovah will reward thee.అట్లు చేయుటచేత వాని తలమీద నిప్పులు కుప్పగా పోయుదువు యెహోవా అందుకు నీకు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చును.

23 The north wind bringeth forth rain: So doth a backbiting tongue an angry countenance.ఉత్తరపు గాలి వాన పుట్టించును కొండెగాని నాలుక కోపదృష్టి కలిగించును.

24 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, Than with a contentious woman in a wide house.గయ్యాళితో పెద్ద యింట నుండుటకంటె మిద్దెమీద నొక మూలను నివసించుట మేలు

25 `As' cold waters to a thirsty soul, So is good news from a far country.దప్పిగొనినవానికి చల్లని నీరు ఎట్లుండునో దూరదేశమునుండి వచ్చిన శుభసమాచారము అట్లుం డును.

26 `As' a troubled fountain, and a corrupted spring, `So is' a righteous man that giveth way before the wicked.కలకలు చేయబడిన ఊటయు చెడిపోయిన బుగ్గయు నీతిమంతుడు దుష్టునికి లోబడుటయు సమానములు.

27 It is not good to eat much honey: So `for men' to search out their own glory is grievous.తేనె నధికముగా త్రాగుట మంచిది కాదు. దుర్లభమైన సంగతి పరిశీలన చేయుట ఘనతకు కార ణము.

28 He whose spirit is without restraint Is `like' a city that is broken down and without walls.ప్రాకారము లేక పాడైన పురము ఎంతో తన మనస్సును అణచుకొనలేనివాడును అంతే.
