Proverbs 20 - YLT (Telugu)

1 Wine `is' a scorner -- strong drink `is' noisy, And any going astray in it is not wise.ద్రాక్షారసము వెక్కిరింతల పాలుచేయును మద్యము అల్లరి పుట్టించును దాని వశమైనవారందరు జ్ఞానములేనివారు.

2 The fear of a king `is' a growl as of a young lion, He who is causing him to be wroth is wronging his soul.రాజువలని భయము సింహగర్జనవంటిది రాజునకు క్రోధము పుట్టించువారు తమకు ప్రాణ మోసము తెచ్చుకొందురు

3 An honour to a man is cessation from strife, And every fool intermeddleth.కలహమునకు దూరముగా నుండుట నరులకు ఘనత మూర్ఖుడైన ప్రతివాడును పోరునే కోరును.

4 Because of winter the slothful plougheth not, He asketh in harvest, and there is nothing.విత్తులు వేయు కాలమున సోమరి దున్నడు కోతకాలమున పంటనుగూర్చి వాడు విచారించు నప్పుడు వానికేమియు లేకపోవును.

5 Counsel in the heart of a man `is' deep water, And a man of understanding draweth it up.నరుని హృదయములోని ఆలోచన లోతు నీళ్ల వంటిది వివేకముగలవాడు దానిని పైకి చేదుకొనును.

6 A multitude of men proclaim each his kindness, And a man of stedfastness who doth find?దయ చూపువానిని కలిసికొనుట అనేకులకు తట స్థించును నమ్ముకొనదగినవాడు ఎవరికి కనబడును?

7 The righteous is walking habitually in his integrity, O the happiness of his sons after him!యథార్థవర్తనుడగు నీతిమంతుని పిల్లలు వాని తదనంతరము ధన్యులగుదురు.

8 A king sitting on a throne of judgment, Is scattering with his eyes all evil,న్యాయసింహాసనాసీనుడైన రాజు తన కన్నులతో చెడుతనమంతయు చెదరగొట్టును.

9 Who saith, `I have purified my heart, I have been cleansed from my sin?'నా హృదయమును శుద్ధపరచుకొని యున్నాను పాపము పోగొట్టుకొని పవిత్రుడనైతిననుకొనదగిన వాడెవడు?

10 A stone and a stone, an ephah and an ephah, Even both of them `are' an abomination to Jehovah.వేరువేరు తూనికె రాళ్లు వేరువేరు కుంచములు ఈ రెండును యెహోవాకు హేయములు.

11 Even by his actions a youth maketh himself known, Whether his work be pure or upright.బాలుడు సహితము తన నడవడి శుద్ధమైనదో కాదో యథార్థమైనదో కాదో తన చేష్టలవలన తెలియజేయును.

12 A hearing ear, and a seeing eye, Jehovah hath made even both of them.వినగల చెవి చూడగల కన్ను ఈ రెండును యెహోవా కలుగచేసినవే.

13 Love not sleep, lest thou become poor, Open thine eyes -- be satisfied `with' bread.లేమికి భయపడి నిద్రయందు ఆసక్తి విడువుము నీవు మేల్కొనియుండినయెడల ఆహారము తిని తృప్తి పొందుదువు.

14 `Bad, bad,' saith the buyer, And going his way then he boasteth himself.కొనువాడుజబ్బుది జబ్బుది అనును అవతలికి వెళ్లి దాని మెచ్చుకొనును.

15 Substance, gold, and a multitude of rubies, Yea, a precious vessel, `are' lips of knowledge.బంగారును విస్తారమైన ముత్యములును కలవు. తెలివి నుచ్చరించు పెదవులు అమూల్యమైన సొత్తు.

16 Take his garment when a stranger hath been surety, And for strangers pledge it.అన్యునికొరకు పూటబడినవాని వస్త్రమును పుచ్చు కొనుము పరులకొరకు వానినే కుదువపెట్టించుము

17 Sweet to a man `is' the bread of falsehood, And afterwards is his mouth filled `with' gravel.మోసము చేసి తెచ్చుకొన్న ఆహారము మనుష్యులకు బహు ఇంపుగా ఉండును పిమ్మట వాని నోరు మంటితో నింపబడును.

18 Purposes by counsel thou dost establish, And with plans make thou war.ఉద్దేశములు ఆలోచనచేత స్థిరపరచబడును వివేకముగల నాయకుడవై యుద్ధము చేయుము.

19 A revealer of secret counsels is the busybody, And for a deceiver `with' his lips make not thyself surety.కొండెగాడై తిరుగులాడువాడు పరుల గుట్టు బయట పెట్టును కావున వదరుబోతుల జోలికి పోకుము.

20 Whoso is vilifying his father and his mother, Extinguished is his lamp in blackness of darkness.తన తండ్రినైనను తల్లినైనను దూషించువాని దీపము కారుచీకటిలో ఆరిపోవును.

21 An inheritance gotten wrongly at first, Even its latter end is not blessed.మొదట బహు త్వరితముగా దొరికిన స్వాస్థ్యము తుదకు దీవెన నొందకపోవును.

22 Do not say, `I recompense evil,' Wait for Jehovah, and He delivereth thee.కీడుకు ప్రతికీడు చేసెదననుకొనవద్దు యెహోవాకొరకు కనిపెట్టుకొనుము ఆయన నిన్ను రక్షించును.

23 An abomination to Jehovah `are' a stone and a stone, And balances of deceit `are' not good.వేరువేరు తూనికె రాళ్లు యెహోవాకు హేయములు దొంగత్రాసు అనుకూలము కాదు.

24 From Jehovah `are' the steps of a man, And man -- how understandeth he his way?ఒకని నడతలు యెహోవా వశము తనకు సంభవింపబోవునది యొకడెట్లు తెలిసికొన గలడు?

25 A snare to a man `is' he hath swallowed a holy thing, And after vows to make inquiry.వివేచింపక ప్రతిష్ఠితమని చెప్పుటయు మ్రొక్కుకొనిన తరువాత దానిగూర్చి విచారించు టయు ఒకనికి ఉరియగును.

26 A wise king is scattering the wicked, And turneth back on them the wheel.జ్ఞానముగల రాజు భక్తిహీనులను చెదరగొట్టును వారిమీద చక్రము దొర్లించును.

27 The breath of man `is' a lamp of Jehovah, Searching all the inner parts of the heart.నరుని ఆత్మ యెహోవా పెట్టిన దీపము అది అంతరంగములన్నియు శోధించును.

28 Kindness and truth keep a king, And he hath supported by kindness his throne.కృపాసత్యములు రాజును కాపాడును కృపవలన అతడు తన సింహాసనమును స్థిరపరచు కొనును.

29 The beauty of young men is their strength, And the honour of old men is grey hairs.¸°వనస్థుల బలము వారికి అలంకారము తలనెరపు వృద్ధులకు సౌందర్యము

30 The bandages of a wound thou removest with the evil, Also the plagues of the inner parts of the heart!గాయములు చేయు దెబ్బలు అంతరంగములలో చొచ్చి చెడుతనమును తొలగిం చును.
