అపహాసకులు దండింపబడగా చూచి జ్ఞానము లేని వారు జ్ఞానము నొందుదురు వివేకులను గద్దించినయెడల వారు జ్ఞానవృద్ధి నొందు దురు.

a scorner,	לֵ֣ץ	lûṣ	loots
Smite	תַּ֭כֶּה	nākâ	na-HA
and the simple	וּפֶ֣תִי	pĕtî	peh-TEE
will beware:	יַעְרִ֑ם	ʿāram	ah-RAHM
and reprove	וְהוֹכִ֥יחַ	yākaḥ	ya-HAHK
one that hath understanding,	לְ֝נָב֗וֹן	bîn	been
he will understand	יָבִ֥ין	bîn	been
knowledge.	דָּֽעַת׃	daʿat	da-AT
