Proverbs 10 - DBY (Telugu)

1 The Proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father; but a foolish son is the grief of his mother.జ్ఞానముగల కుమారుడు తండ్రిని సంతోషపరచును బుద్ధిలేని కుమారుడు తన తల్లికి దుఃఖము పుట్టించును.

2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; but righteousness delivereth from death.భక్తిహీనుల ధనము వారికి లాభకరము కాదు నీతి మరణమునుండి రక్షించును.

3 Jehovah suffereth not the soul of the righteous [man] to famish; but he repelleth the craving of the wicked.యెహోవా నీతిమంతుని ఆకలిగొననియ్యడు భక్తిహీనుని ఆశను భంగముచేయును.

4 He cometh to want that dealeth with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.బద్ధకముగా పనిచేయువాడు దరిద్రుడగును శ్రద్ధగలవాడు ఐశ్వర్యవంతుడగును.

5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son; he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.వేసవికాలమున కూర్చువాడు బుద్ధిగల కుమారుడు కోతకాలమందు నిద్రించువాడు సిగ్గుపరచు కుమా రుడు.

6 Blessings are upon the head of a righteous [man]; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence.నీతిమంతుని తలమీదికి ఆశీర్వాదములు వచ్చును బలాత్కారము భక్తిహీనుని నోరు మూసివేయును.

7 The memory of the righteous [man] shall be blessed; but the name of the wicked shall rot.నీతిమంతుని జ్ఞాపకముచేసికొనుట ఆశీర్వాదకర మగును భక్తిహీనుల పేరు అసహ్యత పుట్టించును

8 The wise in heart receiveth commandments; but a prating fool shall fall.జ్ఞానచిత్తుడు ఉపదేశము నంగీకరించును పనికిమాలిన వదరుబోతు నశించును.

9 He that walketh in integrity walketh securely; but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.యథార్థముగా ప్రవర్తించువాడు నిర్భయముగా ప్రవ ర్తించును. కుటిలవర్తనుడు బయలుపడును.

10 He that winketh with the eye causeth grief, and a prating fool shall fall.కనుసైగ చేయువాడు వ్యధ పుట్టించును పనికిమాలిన వదరుబోతు నశించును.

11 The mouth of a righteous [man] is a fountain of life; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence.నీతిమంతుని నోరు జీవపు ఊట భక్తిహీనుల నోరు బలాత్కారము మరుగుపరచును.

12 Hatred stirreth up strifes; but love covereth all transgressions.పగ కలహమును రేపును ప్రేమ దోషములన్నిటిని కప్పును.

13 In the lips of an intelligent [man] wisdom is found; but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.వివేకుని పెదవులయందు జ్ఞానము కనబడును బుద్ధిహీనుని వీపునకు బెత్తమే తగును.

14 The wise lay up knowledge; but the mouth of the fool is near destruction.జ్ఞానులు జ్ఞానము సమకూర్చుకొందురు మూఢుల నోరు అప్పుడే నాశనముచేయును.

15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city; the destruction of the poor is their poverty.ధనవంతుని ఆస్తి వానికి ఆశ్రయపట్టణము దరిద్రుని పేదరికము వానికి నాశనకరము.

16 The labour of a righteous [man] [tendeth] to life; the revenue of a wicked [man], to sin.నీతిమంతుని కష్టార్జితము జీవదాయకము భక్తిహీనునికి కలుగు వచ్చుబడి పాపము పుట్టించును.

17 Keeping instruction is the path to life; but he that forsaketh reproof goeth astray.ఉపదేశము నంగీకరించువాడు జీవమార్గములో ఉన్నాడు గద్దింపునకు లోబడనివాడు త్రోవ తప్పును.

18 He that covereth hatred hath lying lips, and he that sendeth forth a slander is a fool.అంతరంగమున పగ ఉంచుకొనువాడు అబద్ధికుడు కొండెము ప్రచురము చేయువాడు బుద్ధిహీనుడు.

19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not transgression; but he that restraineth his lips doeth wisely.విస్తారమైన మాటలలో దోషముండక మానదు తన పెదవులను మూసికొనువాడు బుద్ధిమంతుడు.

20 The tongue of the righteous [man] is [as] choice silver; the heart of the wicked is little worth.నీతిమంతుని నాలుక ప్రశస్తమైన వెండివంటిది భక్తిహీనుల ఆలోచన పనికిమాలినది.

21 The lips of a righteous [man] feed many; but fools die for want of understanding.నీతిమంతుని పెదవులు అనేకులకు ఉపదేశించును బుద్ధి లేకపోవుట చేత మూఢులు చనిపోవుదురు.

22 The blessing of Jehovah, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow to it.యెహోవా ఆశీర్వాదము ఐశ్వర్యమిచ్చును నరుల కష్టముచేత ఆ యాశీర్వాదము ఎక్కువ కాదు.

23 It is as sport to a foolish [man] to do wickedness; but a man of understanding hath wisdom.చెడుపనులు చేయుట బుద్ధిహీనునికి ఆటగా నున్నది వివేకికి జ్ఞానపరిశ్రమ చేయుట అట్టిదే.

24 The fear of a wicked [man], it shall come upon him; but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.భక్తిహీనుడు దేనికి భయపడునో అదే వానిమీదికి వచ్చును నీతిమంతులు ఆశించునది వారికి దొరుకును.

25 As a whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no [more]; but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.సుడిగాలి వీచగా భక్తిహీనుడు లేకపోవును. నీతిమంతుడు నిత్యము నిలుచు కట్టడమువలె ఉన్నాడు.

26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.సోమరి తనను పని పెట్టువారికి పండ్లకు పులుసువంటివాడు కండ్లకు పొగవంటివాడు.

27 The fear of Jehovah prolongeth days; but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగియుండుట దీర్ఘాయువునకు కారణము భక్తిహీనుల ఆయుస్సు తక్కువై పోవును.

28 The hope of the righteous is joy; but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.నీతిమంతుల ఆశ సంతోషము పుట్టించును. భక్తిహీనుల ఆశ భంగమై పోవును.

29 The way of Jehovah is strength to the perfect [man], but destruction to the workers of iniquity.యథార్థవంతునికి యెహోవా యేర్పాటు ఆశ్రయదుర్గము పాపముచేయువారికి అది నాశనకరము.

30 The righteous [man] shall never be moved; but the wicked shall not inhabit the land.నీతిమంతుడు ఎన్నడును కదలింపబడడు భక్తిహీనులు దేశములో నివసింపరు.

31 The mouth of a righteous [man] putteth forth wisdom; but the froward tongue shall be cut out.నీతిమంతుని నోరు జ్ఞానోపదేశమును పలుకును మూర్ఖపు మాటలు పలుకు నాలుక పెరికివేయబడును.

32 The lips of a righteous [man] know what is acceptable; but the mouth of the wicked is frowardness.నీతిమంతుని పెదవులు ఉపయుక్తములైన సంగతులు పలుకును భక్తిహీనుల నోట మూర్ఖపు మాటలు వచ్చును.
