1 And the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,వారు ఐగుప్తుదేశమునుండి బయలువెళ్లిన రెండవ సంవ త్సరము రెండవ నెల మొదటి తేదిని, సీనాయి అరణ్య మందలి ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెను

2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their poll:ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల వంశముల చొప్పున వారి వారి పితరుల కుటుంబములనుబట్టి వారి వారి పెద్దలచొప్పున మగవారినందరిని లెక్కించి సర్వసమాజసంఖ్యను వ్రాయిం చుము.

3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel; thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో సైన్యముగా వెళ్లువారిని, అనగా ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయముగల వారిని, తమ తమ సేనలనుబట్టి నీవును అహరోనును లెక్కింపవలెను.

4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.మరియు ప్రతి గోత్రములో ఒకడు, అనగా తన పితరుల కుటుంబములో ముఖ్యుడు, మీతో కూడ ఉండవలెను.

5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: Of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.మీతో కూడ ఉండవలసినవారి పేళ్లు ఏవేవనగారూబేను గోత్రములో షెదేయూరు కుమారుడైన ఏలీసూరు;

6 Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.షిమ్యోను గోత్రములో సూరీషద్దాయి కుమారుడైన షెలుమీయేలు

7 Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.యూదా గోత్రములో అమీ్మనాదాబు కుమారుడైన నయస్సోను

8 Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.ఇశ్శాఖారు గోత్రములో సూయారు కుమారుడైననెత నేలు

9 Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.​జెబూ లూను గోత్రములో హేలోను కుమారుడైన ఏలీయాబు

10 Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.యోసేపు సంతానమందు, అనగా ఎఫ్రాయిము గోత్రములో అమీహూదు కుమారుడైన ఎలీషామాయు; మనష్షే గోత్రములో పెదాసూరు కుమారుడైన గమలీయేలు

11 Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.బెన్యామీను గోత్రములో గిద్యోనీ కుమారుడైన అబీదాను

12 Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.దాను గోత్రములో ఆమీషద్దాయి కుమారుడైన అహీయెజెరు

13 Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.ఆషేరు గోత్రములో ఒక్రాను కుమారు డైన పగీయేలు

14 Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.గాదు గోత్రములో దెయూవేలు కుమారుడైన ఎలాసాపు

15 Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.నఫ్తాలి గోత్రములో ఏనాను కుమారుడైన అహీర అనునవి.

16 These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.వీరు సమాజములో పేరు పొందినవారు. వీరు తమ తమ పితరుల గోత్రములలో ప్రధానులు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కుటుంబములకు పెద్దలును.

17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by their names:పేళ్ల చేత వివరింపబడిన ఆ మనుష్యులను మోషే అహ రోనులు పిలుచుకొని రెండవ నెల మొదటి తేదిని సర్వ సమాజమును కూర్చెను.

18 And they assembled all the congregation on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.​ఇరువది ఏండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయముగలవారు తమ తమ వంశావళులను బట్టి తమ తమ వంశములను తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబ ములను తమ తమ పెద్దల సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.​యెహోవా అతనికి ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు సీనాయి అరణ్యములో మోషే వారిని లెక్కించెను.

20 And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;​ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రథమ కుమారుడైన రూబేను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియ చెప్పగా రూబేను గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు నలుబది యారువేల ఐదువందలమంది యైరి.

21 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.​షిమ్యోను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశము లలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువదియేండ్లు

22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;​మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి పెద్దల సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

23 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.షిమ్యోను గోత్ర ములో లెక్కింపబడినవారు ఏబది తొమి్మదివేల మూడు వందలమంది యైరి.

24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;గాదు పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

25 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.గాదు గోత్రములో లెక్కింప బడినవారు నలుబది యయిదువేల ఆరువందల ఏబదిమంది యైరి.

26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;యూదా పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలు కొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

27 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were seventy and four thousand and six hundred.యూదా గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు డెబ్బది నాలుగువేల ఆరువందలమంది యైరి.

28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;ఇశ్శాఖారు పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశ ము లలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

29 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.ఇశ్శాఖారు గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు ఏబది నాలుగువేల నాలుగువందల మంది యైరి.

30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;జెబూలూను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశము లలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువదియేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

31 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.జెబూలూను గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు ఏబది యేడువేల నాలుగువందల మంది యైరి.

32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;యోసేపు పుత్రుల వంశావళి, అనగా ఎఫ్రాయిము పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లు వారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

33 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.​యోసేపు గోత్ర ములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు నలుబదివేల ఐదువందల మంది యైరి.

34 Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;​మనష్షే పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

35 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.​​మనష్షే గోత్రములో లెక్కింప బడినవారు ముప్పది రెండువేల రెండువందలమంది యైరి.

36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;బెన్యామీను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశము లలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువదియేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

37 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.బెన్యామీను గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు ముప్పది యైదువేల నాలుగువందల మంది యైరి.

38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;దాను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లు వారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

39 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were sixty and two thousand and seven hundred.దానుగోత్రములో లెక్కింప బడినవారు అరువది రెండువేల ఏడువందల మంది యైరి.

40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;ఆషేరు పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువదియేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

41 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.ఆషేరు గోత్రములో లెక్కింప బడినవారు నలువది యొకవేయి ఐదువందలమంది యైరి.

42 Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;నఫ్తాలి పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

43 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.నఫ్తాలి గోత్రములో లెక్కింప బడినవారు ఏబది మూడువేల నాలుగువందలమంది యైరి.

44 These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.వీరు లెక్కింపబడినవారు, అనగా మోషేయు అహ రోనును తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములనుబట్టి ఒక్కొక్క డుగా ఏర్పడిన ప్రధానులును లెక్కించిన వారు.'

45 So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;అట్లు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబముల చొప్పున లెక్కింపబడిన వారందరు, అనగా ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా బయలు వెళ్లిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరు

46 Even all they that were numbered, were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.​లెక్కింపబడి ఆరులక్షల మూడువేల ఐదువందల ఏబదిమంది యైరి.

47 But the Levites, after the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.అయితే లేవీయులు తమ పితరుల గోత్రము చొప్పున వారితో పాటు లెక్కింపబడలేదు.

48 For the LORD had spoken to Moses, saying,ఏలయనగా యెహోవా మోషేతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చియుండెనునీవు లేవీగోత్రమును లెక్కింపకూడదు.

49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల మొత్తమునకు వారి మొత్తమును చేర్చకూడదు.

50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all its vessels, and they shall minister to it, and shall encamp around the tabernacle.నీవు సాక్ష్యపు గుడారము మీదను దాని ఉపకరణము లన్నిటిమీదను దానిలో చేరిన వాటన్నిటి మీదను లేవీయు లను నియమింపుము. వారే మందిర మును దాని ఉపకర ణములన్నిటిని మోయవలెను. వారు మందిరపు సేవ చేయుచు దానిచుట్టు దిగవలసిన వారై యుందురు.

51 And when the tabernacle moveth forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.మందిరము సాగబోవునప్పుడు లేవీయులే దాని విప్పవలెను, మందిరము దిగునప్పుడు లేవీయులే దాని వేయవలెను. అన్యుడు సమీపించిన యెడల వాడు మరణశిక్ష నొందును.

52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తమ తమ సేనల చొప్పున ప్రతివాడును తన తన పాళెములో తన తన ధ్వజము నొద్ద దిగవలెను.

53 But the Levites shall pitch around the tabernacle of testimony; that there may be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమాజముమీద కోపము రాకుండునట్లు లేవీయులు సాక్ష్యపు గుడారము చుట్టు దిగవలెను; వారు సాక్ష్యపు గుడారమును కాపాడవలెను.

54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన వాటన్నిటిని తప్పకుండ ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులు చేసిరి.
