Proverbs 1 - YLT (Telugu)

1 Proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:దావీదు కుమారుడును ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజునైన సొలొ మోను సామెతలు.

2 For knowing wisdom and instruction, For understanding sayings of intelligence,జ్ఞానమును ఉపదేశమును అభ్యసించుటకును వివేక సల్లాపములను గ్రహించుటకును

3 For receiving the instruction of wisdom, Righteousness, judgment, and uprightness,నీతిన్యాయ యథార్థతల ననుసరించుటయందు బుద్ధి కుశలత ఇచ్చు ఉపదేశము నొందుటకును

4 For giving to simple ones -- prudence, To a youth -- knowledge and discretion.జ్ఞానములేనివారికి బుద్ధి కలిగించుటకును ¸°వనులకు తెలివియు వివేచనయు పుట్టించుటకును తగిన సామెతలు.

5 (The wise doth hear and increaseth learning, And the intelligent doth obtain counsels.)జ్ఞానముగలవాడు విని పాండిత్యము వృద్ధిచేసికొనును వివేకముగలవాడు ఆలకించి నీతి సూత్రములను సంపా దించుకొనును.

6 For understanding a proverb and its sweetness, Words of the wise and their acute sayings.వీటిచేత సామెతలను భావసూచక విషయములను జ్ఞానుల మాటలను వారు చెప్పిన గూఢవాక్యములను జనులు గ్రహించుదురు.

7 Fear of Jehovah `is' a beginning of knowledge, Wisdom and instruction fools have despised!యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగియుండుట తెలి వికి మూలము మూర్ఖులు జ్ఞానమును ఉపదేశమును తిరస్కరించుదురు.

8 Hear, my son, the instruction of thy father, And leave not the law of thy mother,నా కుమారుడా, నీ తండ్రి ఉపదేశము ఆలకింపుము నీ తల్లి చెప్పు బోధను త్రోసివేయకుము.

9 For a graceful wreath `are' they to thy head, And chains to thy neck.అవి నీ తలకు సొగసైన మాలికయు నీ కంఠమునకు హారములునై యుండును

10 My son, if sinners entice thee be not willing.నా కుమారుడా, పాపులు నిన్ను ప్రేరేపింపగా ఒప్పకుము.

11 If they say, `Come with us, we lay wait for blood, We watch secretly for the innocent without cause,మాతోకూడ రమ్ము మనము ప్రాణముతీయుటకై పొంచియుందము నిర్దోషియైన యొకని పట్టుకొనుటకు దాగియుందము

12 We swallow them as Sheol -- alive, And whole -- as those going down `to' the pit,పాతాళము మనుష్యులను మింగివేయునట్లు వారిని జీవముతోనే మింగివేయుదము సమాధిలోనికి దిగువారు మింగబడునట్లు వారు పూర్ణ బలముతోనుండగా మనము వారిని మింగివేయు దము రమ్ము అని వారు చెప్పునప్పుడు ఒప్పకుము.

13 Every precious substance we find, We fill our houses `with' spoil,పలువిధములైన మంచి సొత్తులు మనకు దొరుకును మన యిండ్లను దోపుడుసొమ్ముతో నింపుకొందము

14 Thy lot thou dost cast among us, One purse is -- to all of us.'నీవు మాతో పాలివాడవై యుండుము మనకందరికిని సంచి ఒక్కటే యుండును అని వారు నీతో చెప్పుదురు.

15 My son! go not in the way with them, Withhold thy foot from their path,నా కుమారుడా, నీవు వారి మార్గమున పోకుము వారి త్రోవలయందు నడువకుండ నీ పాదము వెనుకకు తీసికొనుము.

16 For their feet to evil do run, And they haste to shed blood.కీడు చేయుటకై వారి పాదములు పరుగులెత్తును నరహత్య చేయుటకై వారు త్వరపడుచుందురు.

17 Surely in vain is the net spread out before the eyes of any bird.పక్షి చూచుచుండగా వల వేయుట వ్యర్థము.

18 And they for their own blood lay wait, They watch secretly for their own lives.వారు స్వనాశనమునకే పొంచియుందురు తమ్మును తామే పట్టుకొనుటకై దాగియుందురు.

19 So `are' the paths of every gainer of dishonest gain, The life of its owners it taketh.ఆశాపాతకులందరి గతి అట్టిదే దానిని స్వీకరించువారి ప్రాణము అది తీయును.

20 Wisdom in an out-place crieth aloud, In broad places she giveth forth her voice,జ్ఞానము వీధులలో కేకలు వేయుచున్నది సంతవీధులలో బిగ్గరగా పలుకుచున్నది

21 At the head of the multitudes she calleth, In the openings of the gates, In the city her sayings she saith:గొప్ప సందడిగల స్థలములలో ప్రకటన చేయు చున్నది పురద్వారములలోను పట్టణములోను జ్ఞానము ప్రచురించుచు తెలియజేయుచున్నది

22 `Till when, ye simple, do ye love simplicity? And have scorners their scorning desired? And do fools hate knowledge?ఎట్లనగా, జ్ఞానములేనివారలారా, మీరెన్నాళ్లు జ్ఞానములేనివారుగా ఉండగోరుదురు? అపహాసకులారా, మీరెన్నాళ్లు అపహాస్యము చేయుచు ఆనందింతురు? బుద్ధిహీనులారా, మీరెన్నాళ్లు జ్ఞానమును అసహ్యించు కొందురు?

23 Turn back at my reproof, lo, I pour forth to you my spirit, I make known my words with you.నా గద్దింపు విని తిరుగుడి ఆలకించుడి నా ఆత్మను మీమీద కుమ్మరించుదును నా ఉపదేశమును మీకు తెలిపెదను.

24 Because I have called, and ye refuse, I stretched out my hand, and none is attending,నేను పిలువగా మీరు వినకపోతిరి. నా చేయిచాపగా ఎవరును లక్ష్యపెట్టకపోయిరి

25 And ye slight all my counsel, And my reproof ye have not desired.నేను చెప్పిన బోధ యేమియు మీరు వినక త్రోసి వేసితిరి నేను గద్దింపగా లోబడకపోతిరి.

26 I also in your calamity do laugh, I deride when your fear cometh,కాబట్టి మీకు అపాయము కలుగునప్పుడు నేను నవ్వెదను మీకు భయము వచ్చునప్పుడు నేను అపహాస్యము చేసెదను

27 When your fear cometh as destruction, And your calamity as a hurricane doth come, When on you come adversity and distress.భయము మీమీదికి తుపానువలె వచ్చునప్పుడు సుడిగాలి వచ్చునట్లు మీకు అపాయము కలుగు నప్పుడు మీకు కష్టమును దుఃఖమును ప్రాప్తించునప్పుడు నేను అపహాస్యము చేసెదను.

28 Then they call me, and I do not answer, They seek me earnestly, and find me not.అప్పుడు వారు నన్నుగూర్చి మొఱ్ఱపెట్టెదరుగాని నేను ప్రత్యుత్తరమియ్యకుందును నన్ను శ్రద్ధగా వెదకెదరు గాని వారికి నేను కనబడ కుందును.

29 Because that they have hated knowledge, And the fear of Jehovah have not chosen.జ్ఞానము వారికి అసహ్యమాయెను యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగియుండుట వారి కిష్టము లేకపోయెను.

30 They have not consented to my counsel, They have despised all my reproof,నా ఆలోచన విననొల్లకపోయిరి నా గద్దింపును వారు కేవలము తృణీకరించిరి.

31 And they eat of the fruit of their way, And from their own counsels they are filled.కాబట్టి వారు తమ ప్రవర్తనకు తగిన ఫలము ననుభ వించెదరు తమకు వెక్కసమగువరకు తమ ఆలోచనలను అనుస రించెదరు

32 For the turning of the simple slayeth them, And the security of the foolish destroyeth them.జ్ఞానములేనివారు దేవుని విసర్జించి నాశనమగుదురు. బుద్ధిహీనులు క్షేమము కలిగినదని మైమరచి నిర్మూల మగుదురు.

33 And whoso is hearkening to me dwelleth confidently, And `is' quiet from fear of evil!'నా ఉపదేశము నంగీకరించువాడు సురక్షితముగా నివసించును వాడు కీడు వచ్చునన్న భయము లేక నెమ్మదిగా నుండును.
