కొంచెముగానైనను దైవాత్మనొందినవారిలో ఎవ రును ఈలాగున చేయలేదు; ఒకడు చేసినను ఏమి జరిగెను? దేవునిచేత సంతతి నొందవలెనని అతడు యత్నము చేసెను గదా; కాగా మిమ్మును మీరే జాగ్రత్త చేసికొని, ¸°వన మున పెండ్లిచేసికొనిన మీ భార్యల విషయములో విశ్వాస ఘాతకులుగా ఉండకుడి.

And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

And did he not make one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? And wherefore one? He sought a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

Yet had he the residue וּשְׁאָ֥ר šĕʾār sheh-AR

And wherefore וּמָה֙ mâ ma
one? הָֽאֶחָ֔ד ʾeḥād eh-HAHD
That he might seek מְבַקֵּ֖שׁ bāqaš ba-KAHSH
seed. זֶ֣רַע zeraʿ zeh-RA
a godly אֱלֹהִ֑ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
Therefore take heed וְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙ šāmar sha-MAHR
to your spirit, בְּר֣וּחֲכֶ֔ם rûaḥ ROO-ak
against the wife וּבְאֵ֥שֶׁת ʾiššâ ee-SHA
of his youth. נְעוּרֶ֖יךָ nāʿûr na-OOR
and let none אַל ʾal al
deal treacherously יִבְגֹּֽד׃ bāgad ba-ɡAHD
