Proverbs 24 - DBY (Telugu)

1 Be not thou envious of evil men, neither desire to be with them;దుర్జనులను చూచి మత్సరపడకుము వారి సహవాసము కోరకుము

2 for their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.వారి హృదయము బలాత్కారము చేయ యోచించును వారి పెదవులు కీడునుగూర్చి మాటలాడును.

3 Through wisdom is a house built, and by understanding it is established;జ్ఞానమువలన ఇల్లు కట్టబడును వివేచనవలన అది స్థిరపరచబడును.

4 and by knowledge are the chambers filled with all precious and pleasant substance.తెలివిచేత దాని గదులు విలువగల రమ్యమైన సర్వ సంపదలతో నింపబడును.

5 A wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge increaseth strength.జ్ఞానముగలవాడు బలవంతుడుగా నుండును తెలివిగలవాడు శక్తిమంతుడుగా నుండును.

6 For with good advice shalt thou make thy war; and in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.వివేకముగల నాయకుడవై యుద్ధముచేయుము. ఆలోచన చెప్పువారు అనేకులుండుట రక్షణకరము

7 Wisdom is too high for a fool: he will not open his mouth in the gate.​మూర్ఖునికి జ్ఞానము అందదు గుమ్మమునొద్ద అట్టివారు మౌనులై యుందురు.

8 He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a master of intrigues.​కీడుచేయ పన్నాగములు పన్నువానికి తంటాలమారి అని పేరు పెట్టబడును.

9 The purpose of folly is sin, and the scorner is an abomination to men.​మూర్ఖుని యోచన పాపము అపహాసకులు నరులకు హేయులు.

10 [If] thou losest courage in the day of trouble, thy strength is small.శ్రమదినమున నీవు క్రుంగినయెడల నీవు చేతకాని వాడవగుదువు.

11 Deliver them that are taken forth unto death, and withdraw not from them that stagger to slaughter.చావునకై పట్టబడినవారిని నీవు తప్పించుము నాశమునందు పడుటకు జోగుచున్న వారిని నీవు రక్షింపవా?

12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not, will not he that weigheth the hearts consider it? And he that preserveth thy soul, he knoweth it; and he rendereth to man according to his work.ఈ సంగతి మాకు తెలియదని నీవనుకొనినయెడల హృదయములను శోధించువాడు నీ మాటను గ్రహిం చును గదా. నిన్ను కనిపెట్టువాడు దాని నెరుగును గదా నరులకు వారి వారి పనులనుబట్టి ఆయన ప్రతికారము చేయును గదా.

13 Eat honey, my son, for it is good; and a honeycomb is sweet to thy taste:నా కుమారుడా, తేనె త్రాగుము అది రుచిగలది గదా తేనెపట్టు తినుము అది నీ నాలుకకు తీపియే గదా.

14 so consider wisdom for thy soul; if thou hast found it, there shall be a result, and thine expectation shall not be cut off.నీ ఆత్మకు జ్ఞానము అట్టిదని తెలిసికొనుము అది నీకు దొరికినయెడల ముందుకు నీకు మంచిగతి కలుగును నీ ఆశ భంగము కానేరదు.

15 Lay not wait, O wicked [man], against the dwelling of the righteous; lay not waste his resting-place.భక్తిహీనుడా, నీతిమంతుని నివాసమునొద్ద పొంచి యుండకుము వాని విశ్రమస్థలమును పాడుచేయకుము.

16 For the righteous falleth seven times, and riseth up again; but the wicked stumble into disaster.నీతిమంతుడు ఏడుమారులు పడినను తిరిగి లేచును ఆపత్కాలమునందు భక్తిహీనులు కూలుదురు.

17 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thy heart be glad when he stumbleth;నీ శత్రువు పడినప్పుడు సంతోషింపకుము వాడు తొట్రిల్లినప్పుడు నీవు మనస్సున నుల్లసింపకుము.

18 lest Jehovah see it, and it be evil in his sight, and he turn away his anger from him.యెహోవా అది చూచి అసహ్యించుకొని వానిమీదనుండి తన కోపము త్రిప్పుకొనునేమో.

19 Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, [and] be not envious of the wicked:దుర్మార్గులను చూచి నీవు వ్యసనపడకుము భక్తిహీనులయెడల మత్సరపడకుము.

20 for there shall be no future to the evil [man]; the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.దుర్జనునికి ముందు గతి లేదు భక్తిహీనుల దీపము ఆరి పోవును

21 My son, fear Jehovah and the king: meddle not with them that are given to change.నా కుమారుడా, యెహోవాను ఘనపరచుము రాజును ఘనపరచుము ఆలాగు చేయనివారి జోలికి పోకుము.

22 For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?అట్టివారికి ఆపద హఠాత్తుగా తటస్థించును వారి కాలము ఎప్పుడు ముగియునో యెవరికి తెలియును?

23 These things also come from the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.ఇవియు జ్ఞానులు చెప్పిన సామెతలే న్యాయము తీర్చుటలో పక్షపాతము చూపుట ధర్మము కాదు

24 He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous, peoples shall curse him, nations shall abhor him;నీయందు దోషములేదని దుష్టునితో చెప్పువానిని ప్రజలు శపించుదురు జనులు అట్టివానియందు అసహ్యపడుదురు.

25 but to them that rebuke [him] shall be delight, and a good blessing cometh upon them.న్యాయముగా తీర్పు తీర్చువారికి మేలు కలుగును క్షేమకరమైన దీవెన అట్టివారిమీదికి వచ్చును.

26 He kisseth the lips who giveth a right answer.సరియైన మాటలతో ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చుట పెదవులతో ముద్దుపెట్టుకొనినట్లుండును.

27 Prepare thy work without, and put thy field in order, and afterwards build thy house.బయట నీ పని చక్క పెట్టుకొనుము ముందుగా పొల ములో దాని సిద్ధపరచుము తరువాత ఇల్లు కట్టుకొనవచ్చును.

28 Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and wouldest thou deceive with thy lips?నిర్నిమిత్తముగా నీ పొరుగువానిమీద సాక్ష్యము పలుక కుము నీ పెదవులతో మోసపు మాటలు చెప్పవచ్చునా?

29 Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me, I will render to the man according to his work.వాడు నాకు చేసినట్లు వానికి చేసెదను వాని క్రియచొప్పున వానికి ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చెద నను కొనకుము.

30 I went by the field of a sluggard, and by the vineyard of a man void of understanding;సోమరివాని చేను నేను దాటి రాగా తెలివిలేనివాని ద్రాక్షతోట నేను దాటి రాగా

31 and lo, it was all grown over with thistles, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and its stone wall was broken down.ఇదిగో దానియందంతట ముండ్ల తుప్పలు బలిసి యుండెను.దూలగొండ్లు దాని కప్పియుండెను దాని రాతి గోడ పడియుండెను.

32 Then I looked, I took it to heart; I saw, I received instruction:నేను దాని చూచి యోచన చేసికొంటిని దాని కనిపెట్టి బుద్ధి తెచ్చుకొంటిని.

33 -- A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest!ఇంక కొంచెము నిద్ర యింక కొంచెము కునుకుపాటు పరుండుటకై యింక కొంచెము చేతులు ముడుచు కొనుట

34 So shall thy poverty come [as] a roving plunderer, and thy penury as an armed man.వీటివలన నీకు దరిద్రత పరుగెత్తి వచ్చును ఆయుధస్థుడు వచ్చినట్లు లేమి నీమీదికి వచ్చును.
