Genesis 47:29
ఇశ్రాయేలు చావవలసిన దినములు సమీపించినప్పుడు అతడు తన కుమారుడైన యోసేపును పిలిపించినా యెడల నీకు కటాక్షమున్నయెడల దయచేసి నీ చెయ్యి నాతొడక్రింద ఉంచి నా యెడల దయను నమ్మకమును కనుపరచుము; ఎట్లనగా నన్ను ఐగుప్తులో పాతిపెట్టకుము.

| and he called | וַיִּקְרָ֣א׀ | wayyiqrāʾ | va-yeek-RA |
| son his | לִבְנ֣וֹ | libnô | leev-NOH |
| Joseph, | לְיוֹסֵ֗ף | lĕyôsēp | leh-yoh-SAFE |
| and said | וַיֹּ֤אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| If him, unto | לוֹ֙ | lô | loh |
| now | אִם | ʾim | eem |
| I have found | נָ֨א | nāʾ | na |
| grace | מָצָ֤אתִי | māṣāʾtî | ma-TSA-tee |
| sight, thy in | חֵן֙ | ḥēn | hane |
| put, | בְּעֵינֶ֔יךָ | bĕʿênêkā | beh-ay-NAY-ha |
| I pray thee, | שִֽׂים | śîm | seem |
| hand thy | נָ֥א | nāʾ | na |
| under | יָֽדְךָ֖ | yādĕkā | ya-deh-HA |
| my thigh, | תַּ֣חַת | taḥat | TA-haht |
| and deal | יְרֵכִ֑י | yĕrēkî | yeh-ray-HEE |
| kindly | וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ | wĕʿāśîtā | veh-ah-SEE-ta |
| and truly | עִמָּדִי֙ | ʿimmādiy | ee-ma-DEE |
| with me; bury | חֶ֣סֶד | ḥesed | HEH-sed |
| not, me | וֶֽאֱמֶ֔ת | weʾĕmet | veh-ay-MET |
| I pray thee, | אַל | ʾal | al |
| in Egypt: | נָ֥א | nāʾ | na |
| תִקְבְּרֵ֖נִי | tiqbĕrēnî | teek-beh-RAY-nee | |
| בְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃ | bĕmiṣrāyim | beh-meets-RA-yeem |
