Genesis 47:1
యోసేపు వెళ్లి ఫరోను చూచినా తండ్రియు నా సహోదరులును వారి గొఱ్ఱల మందలతోను వారి పశువులతోను వారికి కలిగినదంతటితోను కనాను దేశము నుండి వచ్చి గోషెనులో నున్నారని తెలియచేసి

| father My | וַיֹּ֗אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| and my brethren, | אָבִ֨י | ʾābî | ah-VEE |
| their and flocks, | וְאַחַ֜י | wĕʾaḥay | veh-ah-HAI |
| their and herds, | וְצֹאנָ֤ם | wĕṣōʾnām | veh-tsoh-NAHM |
| all and | וּבְקָרָם֙ | ûbĕqārām | oo-veh-ka-RAHM |
| that | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| came come are have, they | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| out | לָהֶ֔ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
| of the land | בָּ֖אוּ | bāʾû | BA-oo |
| Canaan; of | מֵאֶ֣רֶץ | mēʾereṣ | may-EH-rets |
| and, behold, | כְּנָ֑עַן | kĕnāʿan | keh-NA-an |
