Genesis 4:7
నీవు సత్క్రియ చేసిన యెడల తలనెత్తుకొనవా? సత్క్రియ చేయనియెడల వాకిట పాపము పొంచియుండును; నీ యెడల దానికి వాంఛ కలుగును నీవు దానిని ఏలుదువనెను.

| thou doest not | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| well, | תֵיטִ֔יב | têṭîb | tay-TEEV |
| sin | לַפֶּ֖תַח | lappetaḥ | la-PEH-tahk |
| lieth | חַטָּ֣את | ḥaṭṭāt | ha-TAHT |
| at the door. | רֹבֵ֑ץ | rōbēṣ | roh-VAYTS |
| And unto thee | וְאֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ | wĕʾēlêkā | veh-ay-LAY-HA |
| desire, his be shall | תְּשׁ֣וּקָת֔וֹ | tĕšûqātô | teh-SHOO-ka-TOH |
| and thou | וְאַתָּ֖ה | wĕʾattâ | veh-ah-TA |
| shalt rule | תִּמְשָׁל | timšāl | teem-SHAHL |
