రమారమి మూడు నెలలైన తరువాతనీ కోడలగు తామారు జారత్వము చేసెను; అంతేకాక ఆమె జారత్వమువలన గర్భవతియైనదని యూదాకు తెలుపబడెను. అప్పుడు యూదాఆమెను బయటికి తీసికొనిరండి, ఆమెను కాల్చి వేయవలెనని చెప్పెను.
