Genesis 32 - BBE (Telugu)

1 And on his way Jacob came face to face with the angels of God.యాకోబు తన త్రోవను వెళ్లుచుండగా దేవదూతలు అతనిని ఎదుర్కొనిరి.

2 And when he saw them he said, This is the army of God: so he gave that place the name of Mahanaim.యాకోబు వారిని చూచిఇది దేవుని సేన అని చెప్పి ఆ చోటికి మహనయీము అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

3 Now Jacob sent servants before him to Esau, his brother, in the land of Seir, the country of Edom;యాకోబు ఎదోము దేశమున, అనగా శేయీరు దేశముననున్న తన సహోదరుడైన ఏశావునొద్దకు దూతలను తనకు ముందుగా పంపి

4 And he gave them orders to say these words to Esau: Your servant Jacob says, Till now I have been living with Laban:మీరు నా ప్రభువైన ఏశావుతో ఇంతవరకు నేను లాబానునొద్ద నివసించి యుంటిని;

5 And I have oxen and asses and flocks and men-servants and women-servants: and I have sent to give my lord news of these things so that I may have grace in his eyes.నాకు పశువులు గాడిదలు మందలు దాసదాసీజనమును కలరు; నీ కటాక్షము నాయందు కలుగునట్లుగా నా ప్రభువునకిది తెలియచేయనంపితినని నీ సేవకుడైన యాకోబు అనెనని చెప్పుడని వారి కాజ్ఞాపించెను.

6 When the servants came back they said, We have seen your brother Esau and he is coming out to you, and four hundred men with him.ఆ దూతలు యాకోబునొద్దకు తిరిగివచ్చిమేము నీ సహోదరుడైన ఏశావునొద్దకు వెళ్లితివిు; అతడు నాలుగువందలమందితో నిన్ను ఎదుర్కొన వచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్పగా

7 Then Jacob was in great fear and trouble of mind: and he put all the people and the flocks and the herds and the camels into two groups;యాకోబు మిక్కిలి భయపడి తొందరపడి

8 And said, If Esau, meeting one group, makes an attack on them, the others will get away safely.ఏశావు ఒక గుంపు మీదికి వచ్చి దాని హతము చేసినయెడల మిగిలిన గుంపు తప్పించుకొనిపోవుననుకొని, తనతోనున్న జనులను మందలను పశువులను ఒంటెలను రెండు గుంపులుగా విభాగిం

9 Then Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, the God of my father Isaac, the Lord who said to me, Go back to your country and your family and I will be good to you:అప్పుడు యాకోబునా తండ్రియైన అబ్రాహాము దేవా, నా తండ్రియైన ఇస్సాకు దేవా, నీ దేశమునకు నీ బంధు వులయొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లుము, నీకు మేలు చేసెదనని నాతో చెప్పిన యెహోవా,

10 I am less than nothing in comparison with all your mercies and your faith to me your servant; for with only my stick in my hand I went across Jordan, and now I have become two armies.నీవు నీ సేవకునికి చేసిన సమస్తమైన ఉపకారములకును సమస్త సత్యమునకును అపాత్రుడను, ఎట్లనగా నా చేతి కఱ్ఱతో మాత్రమే యీ యొర్దానుదాటితిని; ఇప్పుడు నేను రెండు గుంపులైతిని.

11 Be my saviour from the hand of Esau, my brother: for my fear is that he will make an attack on me, putting to death mother and child.నా సహో దరుడైన ఏశావు చేతినుండి దయచేసి నన్ను తప్పించుము; అతడు వచ్చి పిల్లలతో తల్లిని, నన్ను చంపునేమో అని అతనికి భయపడుచున్నాను.

12 And you said, Truly, I will be good to you, and make your seed like the sand of the sea which may not be numbered.నీవు నేను నీకు తోడై నిశ్చయముగా మేలు చేయుచు, విస్తారమగుటవలన లెక్కింపలేని సముద్రపు ఇసుకవలె నీ సంతానము విస్త రింపజేయుదునని సెలవిచ్చితివే అనెను.

13 Then he put up his tent there for the night; and from among his goods he took, as an offering for his brother Esau,అతడు అక్కడ ఆ రాత్రి గడిపి తాను సంపాదించిన దానిలో తన అన్నయైన ఏశావు కొరకు ఒక కానుకను

14 Two hundred she-goats and twenty he-goats, two hundred females and twenty males from the sheep,అనగా రెండువందల మేకలను ఇరువది మేక పోతులను రెండువందల గొఱ్ఱలను ఇరువది పొట్టేళ్లను

15 Thirty camels with their young ones, forty cows, ten oxen, twenty asses, and ten young asses.ముప్పది పాడి ఒంటెలను వాటి పిల్లలను నలుబది ఆవులను పది ఆబోతులను ఇరువది ఆడుగాడిదలను పది గాడిద పిల్లలను తీసికొని మందమందను వేరు వేరుగా

16 These he gave to his servants, every herd by itself, and he said to his servants, Go on before me, and let there be a space between one herd and another.తన దాసులచేతి కప్పగించిమీరు మంద మందకు నడుమ ఎడముంచి నాకంటె ముందుగా సాగిపొండని తన దాసులతో చెప్పెను.

17 And he gave orders to the first, saying, When my brother Esau comes to you and says, Whose servant are you, and where are you going, and whose are these herds?మరియు వారిలో మొదటివానితోనా సహోదరుడైన ఏశావు నిన్ను ఎదుర్కొనినీవెవరివాడవు? ఎక్కడికి వెళ్లుచున్నావు? నీ ముందరనున్నవి యెవరివని నిన్ను అడిగినయెడల

18 Then say to him, These are your servant Jacob's; they are an offering for my lord, for Esau; and he himself is coming after us.నీవు ఇవి నీ సేవకుడైన యాకో బువి, ఇది నా ప్రభువైన ఏశావుకొరకు పంపబడిన కానుక; అదిగో అతడు మా వెనుక వచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్పుమని ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

19 And he gave the same orders to the second and the third and to all those who were with the herds, saying, This is what you are to say to Esau when you see him;అట్లతడు నేను ముందుగా పంపుచున్న కానుకవలన అతని సమాధానపరచిన తరువాత నేను అతని ముఖము చూచెదను; అప్పుడతడు ఒకవేళ నన్ను కటా క్షించుననుకొనిమీరు ఏశావును చూచి

20 And you are to say further, Jacob, your servant, is coming after us. For he said to himself, I will take away his wrath by the offering which I have sent on, and then I will come before him: it may be that I will have grace in his eyes.మీరు ఇదిగో నీ సేవకుడైన యాకోబు మా వెనుక వచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్ప వలెననియు రెండవవానికిని మూడవవానికిని మందల వెంబడి వెళ్లిన వారికందరికిని ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

21 So the servants with the offerings went on in front, and he himself took his rest that night in the tents with his people.అతడు కానుకను తనకు ముందుగా పంపించి తాను గుంపులో ఆ రాత్రి నిలిచెను.

22 And in the night he got up, and taking with him his two wives and the two servant-women and his eleven children, he went over the river Jabbok.ఆ రాత్రి అతడు లేచి తన యిద్దరు భార్యలను తన యిద్దరు దాసీలను తన పదకొండుమంది పిల్లలను తీసికొని యబ్బోకు రేవు దాటిపోయెను.

23 He took them and sent them over the stream with all he had.యాకోబు వారిని తీసి కొని ఆ యేరు దాటించి తనకు కలిగినదంతయు పంపి వేసెను.

24 Then Jacob was by himself; and a man was fighting with him till dawn.యాకోబు ఒక్కడు మిగిలి పోయెను; ఒక నరుడు తెల్లవారు వరకు అతనితో పెనుగులాడెను.

25 But when the man saw that he was not able to overcome Jacob, he gave him a blow in the hollow part of his leg, so that his leg was damaged.తాను అతని గెలువకుండుట చూచి తొడగూటిమీద అతనిని కొట్టెను. అప్పుడతడు ఆయనతో పెనుగులాడుటవలన యాకోబు తొడ గూడువసిలెను.

26 And he said to him, Let me go now, for the dawn is near. But Jacob said, I will not let you go till you have given me your blessing.ఆయనతెల్లవారు చున్నది గనుక నన్ను పోనిమ్మనగా అతడునీవు నన్ను ఆశీర్వ దించితేనే గాని నిన్ను పోనియ్యననెను.

27 Then he said, What is your name? And he said, Jacob.ఆయననీ పేరేమని యడుగగా అతడుయాకోబు అని చెప్పెను.

28 And he said, Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel: for in your fight with God and with men you have overcome.అప్పుడు ఆయననీవు దేవునితోను మనుష్యులతోను పోరాడి గెలిచితివి గనుక ఇకమీదట నీ పేరు ఇశ్రాయేలే గాని యాకోబు అనబడదని చెప్పెను.

29 Then Jacob said, What is your name? And he said, What is my name to you? Then he gave him a blessing.అప్పుడు యాకోబునీ పేరు దయచేసి తెలుపుమనెను. అందు కాయననీవు ఎందునిమిత్తము నా పేరు అడిగితివని చెప్పి అక్కడ అతని నాశీర్వదించెను.

30 And Jacob gave that place the name of Peniel, saying, I have seen God face to face, and still I am living.యాకోబునేను ముఖా ముఖిగా దేవుని చూచితిని అయినను నా ప్రాణము దక్కినదని ఆ స్థలమునకు పెనూయేలు అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

31 And while he was going past Peniel, the sun came up. And he went with unequal steps because of his damaged leg.అతడు పెనూయేలునుండి సాగిపోయినప్పుడు సూర్యోదయమాయెను; అప్పుడతడు తొడకుంటుచు నడి చెను.

32 For this reason the children of Israel, even today, never take that muscle in the hollow of the leg as food, because the hollow of Jacob's leg was touched.అందుచేత ఆయన యాకోబు తొడగూటిమీది తుంటినరము కొట్టినందున నేటివరకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తొడ గూటిమీదనున్న తుంటినరము తినరు.
