Genesis 26 - DBY (Telugu)

1 And there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine which had been in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech the king of the Philistines, to Gerar.అబ్రాహాము దినములలో వచ్చిన మొదటి కరవు గాక మరియొక కరవు ఆ దేశములో వచ్చెను. అప్పడు ఇస్సాకు గెరారులోనున్న ఫిలిష్తీయుల రాజైన అబీమెలెకు నొద్దకు వెళ్లెను.

2 And Jehovah appeared to him and said, Go not down to Egypt: dwell in the land that I shall tell thee of.అక్కడ యెహోవా అతనికి ప్రత్యక్షమైనీవు ఐగుప్తులోనికి వెళ్లక నేను నీతో చెప్పు దేశమందు నివసించుము.

3 Sojourn in this land; and I will be with thee and bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries; and I will perform the oath which I swore unto Abraham thy father.ఈ దేశమందు పరవాసివై యుండుము. నేను నీకు తోడైయుండి నిన్ను ఆశీర్వ దించెదను;

4 And I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and unto thy seed will I give all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth bless themselves --ఏలయనగా నీకును నీ సంతానమునకును ఈ దేశములన్నియు ఇచ్చి, నీ తండ్రియైన అబ్రాహాముతో నేను చేసిన ప్రమాణము నెరవేర్చి, ఆకాశ నక్షత్రములవలె నీ సంతానమును విస్తరింపచేసి ఈ దేశములన్నియు నీ సంతానమునకు ఇచ్చెదను. నీ సంతానమువలన సమస్త భూలోకములోని సమస్త జనులు ఆశీర్వదింపబడుదురు.

5 because that Abraham hearkened to my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.ఏలయనగా అబ్రాహాము నా మాట విని నేను విధించిన దాని నా ఆజ్ఞ లను నా కట్టడలను నా నియమములను గైకొనెనని చెప్పెను.

6 And Isaac dwelt at Gerar.ఇస్సాకు గెరారులో నివసించెను.

7 And the men of the place asked about his wife. And he said, She is my sister; for he feared to say, my wife, [saying to himself,] Lest the men of the place slay me on account of Rebecca -- because she was fair in countenance.ఆ చోటి మనుష్యులు అతని భార్యను చూచిఆమె యెవరని అడిగినప్పుడు అతడుఆమె నా సహోదరి అని చెప్పెను; ఎందుకనగా రిబ్కా చక్కనిది గనుక ఈ చోటి మనుష్యులు ఆమె నిమిత్తము నన్ను చంపుదురేమో అనుకొని తన భార్య అని చెప్పుటకు భయపడెను.

8 And it came to pass when he had been there some time, that Abimelech the king of the Philistines looked out of the window, and saw, and behold, Isaac was dallying with Rebecca his wife.అక్కడ అతడు చాలా దినము లుండిన తరువాత ఫిలిష్తీయుల రాజైన అబీమెలెకు కిటికీలో నుండి చూచినప్పుడు ఇస్సాకు తన భార్యయైన రిబ్కాతో సరసమాడుట కనబడెను.

9 Then Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, she is certainly thy wife; and how saidst thou, She is my sister? and Isaac said to him, Because I said, Lest I die on account of her.అప్పుడు అబీమెలెకు ఇస్సాకును పిలిపించిఇదిగో ఆమె నీ భార్యయేఆమె నా సహోదరి అని యేల చెప్పితివని అడుగగా ఇస్సాకుఆమెను బట్టి నేను చనిపోవుదు నేమో అనుకొంటినని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

10 And Abimelech said, What is this thou hast done to us? But a little and one of the people might have lain with thy wife, and thou wouldest have brought a trespass on us.అందుకు అబీమెలెకునీవు మాకు చేసిన యీ పని యేమి? ఈ జనులలో ఎవడైన ఆమెతో నిర్భయముగా శయ నించవచ్చునే. అప్పుడు నీవు మామీదికి పాతకము తెచ్చిపెట్టు వాడవుగదా అనెను.

11 And Abimelech charged all the people, saying, He that touches this man or his wife shall certainly be put to death.అబీమెలెకుఈ మనుష్యుని జోలికైనను ఇతని భార్య జోలికైనను వెళ్లు వాడు నిశ్చయముగా మరణశిక్ష పొందునని తన ప్రజల కందరికి ఆజ్ఞాపింపగా

12 And Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold; and Jehovah blessed him.ఇస్సాకు ఆ దేశమందున్నవాడై విత్తనము వేసి ఆ సంవత్సరము నూరంతలు ఫలము పొందెను. యెహోవా అతనిని ఆశీర్వదించెను గనుక ఆ మనుష్యుడు గొప్పవాడాయెను.

13 And the man became great, and he became continually greater, until he was very great.అతడు మిక్కిలి గొప్పవాడగువరకు క్రమ క్రమముగా అభివృద్ధి పొందుచు వచ్చెను.

14 And he had possessions of flocks, and possessions of herds, and a great number of servants; and the Philistines envied him.అతనికి గొఱ్ఱల ఆస్తియు గొడ్ల ఆస్తియు దాసులు గొప్ప సమూహ మును కలిగినందున ఫిలిష్తీయులు అతనియందు అసూయ పడిరి.

15 And all the wells that his father's servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines stopped them and filled them with earth.అతని తండ్రియైన అబ్రాహాము దినములలో అతని తండ్రి దాసులు త్రవ్విన బావులన్నిటిని ఫిలిష్తీయులు మన్ను పోసి పూడ్చివేసిరి.

16 And Abimelech said to Isaac, Go from us; for thou art become much mightier than we.అబీమెలెకునీవు మాకంటె బహు బలము గలవాడవు గనుక మాయొద్దనుండి వెళ్లిపొమ్మని ఇస్సా కుతో చెప్పగా

17 And Isaac departed thence, and pitched his camp in the valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.ఇస్సాకు అక్కడనుండి వెళ్లి గెరారు లోయలో గుడారము వేసికొని అక్కడ నివసించెను.

18 And Isaac dug again the wells of water that they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, and that the Philistines had stopped after the death of Abraham; and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.అప్పుడు తన తండ్రియైన అబ్రాహాము దినములలో త్రవ్విన నీళ్ల బావులు ఇస్సాకు తిరిగి త్రవ్వించెను; ఏలయనగా అబ్రా హాము మృతిబొందిన తరువాత ఫిలిష్తీయులు వాటిని పూడ్చివేసిరి. అతడు తన

19 And Isaac's servants dug in the valley, and found there a well of springing water.మరియు ఇస్సాకు దాసులు ఆ లోయలో త్రవ్వగా జెలలుగల నీళ్లబావి దొరికెను.

20 But the shepherds of Gerar strove with Isaac's shepherds, saying, The water is ours. And he called the name of the well Esek, because they had quarrelled with him.అప్పుడు గెరారు కాపరులు ఇస్సాకు కాపరులతో జగడమాడిఈ నీరు మాదే అని చెప్పిరి గనుక వారు తనతో కలహించినందున అతడు ఆ బావికి ఏశెకు అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

21 And they dug another well, and they strove for that also; and he called the name of it Sitnah.వారు మరియొక బావి త్రవ్వినప్పుడు దానికొరకును జగడమాడిరి గనుక దానికి శిత్నా అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

22 And he removed thence and dug another well; and they did not strive for that. And he called the name of it Rehoboth, and said, For now Jehovah has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.అతడు అక్కడనుండి వెళ్లి మరియొక బావి త్రవ్వించెను. దాని విషయమై వారు జగడ మాడలేదు గనుక అతడుఇప్పుడు యెహోవా మనకు ఎడము కలుగజేసియున్నాడు గనుక యీ దేశ మంద

23 And he went up thence to Beer-sheba.అక్కడనుండి అతడు బెయేర్షెబాకు వెళ్లెను.

24 And Jehovah appeared to him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake.ఆ రాత్రియే యెహోవా అతనికి ప్రత్యక్షమైనేను నీ తండ్రియైన అబ్రాహాము దేవుడను, నేను నీకు తోడైయున్నాను గనుక భయపడకుము; నా దాసుడైన అబ్రాహామును బట్టి నిన్ను ఆశీర్వదించి నీ సంతానమును విస్తరింపచేసెదనని చెప్పెను.

25 And he built an altar there, and called upon the name of Jehovah. And he pitched his tent there; and there Isaac's servants dug a well.అక్కడ అతడొక బలిపీఠము కట్టించి యెహోవా నామమున ప్రార్థనచేసి అక్కడ తన గుడారము వేసెను. అప్పుడు ఇస్సాకు దాసులు అక్కడ బావి త్రవ్విరి.

26 And Abimelech, and Ahuzzath his friend, and Phichol the captain of his host, went to him from Gerar.అంతట అబీమెలెకును అతని స్నేహితుడైన అహుజతును అతని సేనాధిపతియైన ఫీకోలును గెరారునుండి అతనియొద్దకు వచ్చిరి.

27 And Isaac said to them, Why are ye come to me, seeing ye hate me, and have driven me away from you?ఇస్సాకుమీరు నామీద పగపట్టి మీయొద్దనుండి నన్ను పంపివేసిన తరువాత ఎందునిమిత్తము నా యొద్దకు వచ్చియున్నారని వారినడుగగా

28 And they said, We saw certainly that Jehovah is with thee; and we said, Let there be then an oath between us -- between us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee,వారు నిశ్చ యముగా యెహోవా నీకు తోడైయుండుట చూచితివిు గనుక మనకు, అనగా మాకును నీకును మధ్య నొక ప్రమాణముండవలె ననియు

29 that thou wilt do us no wrong, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done to thee nothing but good, and have let thee go in peace; thou art now blessed of Jehovah.మేము నిన్ను ముట్టక నీకు మేలే తప్ప మరేమియు చేయక నిన్ను సమాధానముగా పంపి వేసితివిు గనుక నీవును మాకు కీడుచేయకుండునట్లు నీతో నిబంధనచేసికొందుమనియు అనుకొంటిమి; ఇప్పుడు నీవు యెహోవా ఆశీర్వాదము పొందిన వాడవనిరి.

30 And he made them a feast, and they ate and drank.అతడు వారికి విందుచేయగా వారు అన్నపానములు పుచ్చు కొనిరి.

31 And they rose early in the morning, and swore one to another; and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.తెల్లవారినప్పుడు వారు లేచి ఒకనితో ఒకడు ప్రమాణము చేసికొనిరి; తరువాత ఇస్సాకు వారిని సాగ నంపగా వారు అతని యొద్దనుండి సమాధానముగా వెళ్లిరి.

32 And it came to pass the same day, that Isaac's servants came, and told him concerning the well that they had dug, and said to him, We have found water.ఆ దినమందే ఇస్సాకు దాసులు వచ్చి తాము త్రవ్విన బావినిగూర్చి అతనికి తెలియచేసిమాకు నీళ్లు కనబడినవని చెప్పిరి గనుక

33 And he called it Shebah; therefore the name of the city is Beer-sheba to this day.దానికి షేబ అను పేరు పెట్టెను. కాబట్టి నేటివరకు ఆ ఊరి పేరు బెయేర్షెబా.

34 And Esau was forty years old, when he took as wives Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Basmath the daughter of Elon the Hittite.ఏశావు నలువది సంవత్సరములవాడైనప్పుడు హిత్తీయు డైన బేయేరీ కుమార్తెయగు యహూదీతును హిత్తీయు డైన ఏలోను కుమార్తెయగు బాశెమతును పెండ్లిచేసి కొనెను.

35 And they were a grief of mind to Isaac and to Rebecca.వీరు ఇస్సాకునకును రిబ్కాకును మనోవేదన కలుగజేసిరి.
