Deuteronomy 17:5
ఇద్దరు ముగ్గురు సాక్షుల మాటమీదనే చావతగిన వానికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను.

| man | הַה֡וּא | hahûʾ | ha-HOO |
| or | אוֹ֩ | ʾô | oh |
| that | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| woman, | הָֽאִשָּׁ֨ה | hāʾiššâ | ha-ee-SHA |
| which | הַהִ֜וא | hahiw | ha-HEEV |
| have committed | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| עָ֠שׂוּ | ʿāśû | AH-soo | |
| that | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| wicked | הַדָּבָ֨ר | haddābār | ha-da-VAHR |
| thing, | הָרָ֤ע | hārāʿ | ha-RA |
| unto | הַזֶּה֙ | hazzeh | ha-ZEH |
| gates, thy | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| even | שְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ | šĕʿārêkā | sheh-ah-RAY-ha |
| that man | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| or | הָאִ֕ישׁ | hāʾîš | ha-EESH |
| א֖וֹ | ʾô | oh | |
| that woman, | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| stone shalt and | הָֽאִשָּׁ֑ה | hāʾiššâ | ha-ee-SHA |
| them with stones, | וּסְקַלְתָּ֥ם | ûsĕqaltām | oo-seh-kahl-TAHM |
| till they die. | בָּֽאֲבָנִ֖ים | bāʾăbānîm | ba-uh-va-NEEM |
| וָמֵֽתוּ׃ | wāmētû | va-may-TOO |
