Deuteronomy 16:4
నీ ప్రాంతము లన్నిటిలో ఏడు దినములు పొంగినదేదైనను కనబడకూడదు. మరియు నీవు మొదటి తేది సాయంకాలమున వధించిన దాని మాంసములో కొంచెమైనను ఉదయమువరకు మిగిలి యుండ కూడదు.

| days; | שִׁבְעַ֣ת | šibʿat | sheev-AT |
| neither | יָמִ֑ים | yāmîm | ya-MEEM |
| of thing any there shall | וְלֹֽא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| the flesh, | יָלִ֣ין | yālîn | ya-LEEN |
| which | מִן | min | meen |
| thou sacrificedst | הַבָּשָׂ֗ר | habbāśār | ha-ba-SAHR |
| the first | אֲשֶׁ֨ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| day | תִּזְבַּ֥ח | tizbaḥ | teez-BAHK |
| at even, | בָּעֶ֛רֶב | bāʿereb | ba-EH-rev |
| remain | בַּיּ֥וֹם | bayyôm | BA-yome |
