1 Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour{3:00 PM}.పగలు మూడు గంటలకు ప్రార్థనకాలమున పేతురును యోహానును దేవాలయమునకు ఎక్కి వెళ్లుచుండగా,

2 A certain man who was lame from his mother's womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.పుట్టినది మొదలుకొని కుంటివాడైన యొక మనుష్యుడు మోసికొనిపోబడుచుండెను. వాడు దేవాలయములోనికి వెళ్లువారిని భిక్షమడుగుటకు కొందరు ప్రతిదినము వానిని శృంగారమను దేవాలయపు ద్వారమునొద్ద ఉంచుచు వచ్చిరి.

3 Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy.పేతురును యోహానును దేవాలయములో ప్రవేశింప బోవునప్పుడు వాడు చూచి భిక్షమడుగగా

4 Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, "Look at us."పేతురును యోహానును వానిని తేరి చూచిమాతట్టు చూడుమనిరి.

5 He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.వాడు వారియొద్ద ఏమైన దొరుకునని కనిపెట్టుచు వారియందు లక్ష్యముంచెను.

6 But Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!"అంతట పేతురువెండి బంగారములు నాయొద్ద లేవు గాని నాకు కలిగినదే నీ కిచ్చుచున్నాను; నజరేయుడైన యేసు క్రీస్తు నామమున నడువుమని చెప్పి

7 He took him by the right hand, and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.వాని కుడిచెయ్యి పట్టుకొని లేవనెత్తెను; వెంటనే వాని పాదములును చీలమండలును బలము పొందెను.

8 Leaping up, he stood, and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.వాడు దిగ్గున లేచి నిలిచి నడిచెను; నడుచుచు గంతులు వేయుచు దేవుని స్తుతించుచు వారితోకూడ దేవాలయములోనికి వెళ్లెను.

9 All the people saw him walking and praising God.వాడు నడుచుచు దేవుని స్తుతించుట ప్రజలందరు చూచి

10 They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.శృంగారమను దేవా లయపు ద్వారమునొద్ద భిక్షముకొరకు కూర్చుండినవాడు వీడే అని గుర్తెరిగి,వానికి జరిగిన దానిని చూచి విస్మయముతో నిండి పరవశులైరి.

11 As the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.వాడు పేతురును యోహానును పట్టుకొని యుండగా, ప్రజలందరు విస్మయమొంది సొలొమోనుదను మంటపములో ఉన్న వారియొద్దకు గుంపుగా పరుగెత్తివచ్చిరి.

12 When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, "You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?పేతురు దీనిని చూచి ప్రజలతో ఇట్లనెనుఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీరు వీని విషయమై యెందుకు ఆశ్చర్యపడుచున్నారు? మాసొంతశక్తి చేతనైనను భక్తిచేతనైనను నడవను వీనికి బలమిచ్చి నట్టుగా మీరెందుకు మాతట్టు తేరి చూచుచున్నారు?

13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబు అనువారి దేవుడు, అనగా మన పితరుల దేవుడు తన సేవకుడైన యేసును మహిమపరచియున్నాడు; మీరాయనను అప్పగించితిరి, పిలాతు ఆయనను విడుదల చే¸

14 But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,మీరు పరిశుద్ధుడును నీతిమంతుడునైన వానిని నిరాకరించి, నర హంతకుడైన మనుష్యుని మీకు అనుగ్రహింపుమని అడిగి తిరి.

15 and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses.మీరు జీవాధిపతిని చంపితిరి గాని దేవుడు ఆయనను మృతులలోనుండి లేపెను; అందుకు మేము సాక్షులము.

16 By faith in his name has his name made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.ఆయన నామమందలి విశ్వాసముమూలముగా ఆయన నామమే మీరు చూచి యెరిగియున్న వీనిని బలపరచెను; ఆయనవలన కలిగిన విశ్వాసమే మీ అందరియెదుట వీనికి ఈ పూర్ణస్వస్థత కలుగజేసెను.

17 "Now, brothers{The word for "brothers" here may be also correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.సహోదరులారా, మీరును మీ అధికారులును తెలియక చేసితిరని నాకు తెలియును.

18 But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.అయితే దేవుడు తన క్రీస్తు శ్రమపడునని సమస్త ప్రవక్తలనోట ముందుగా ప్రచురపరచిన విషయ ములను ఈలాగు నెరవేర్చెను.

19 "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,ప్రభువు సముఖము నుండి విశ్రాంతికాలములు వచ్చునట్లును

20 and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,మీకొరకు నియమించిన క్రీస్తుయేసును ఆయన పంపునట్లును మీ పాపములు తుడిచివేయబడు నిమిత్తమును మారుమనస్సు నొంది తిరుగుడి.

21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets.అన్నిటికి కుదురుబాటు కాలములు వచ్చునని దేవుడు ఆదినుండి తన పరిశుద్ధ ప్రవక్తలనోట పలికించెను. అంతవరకు యేసు పరలోక నివాసియై యుండుట ఆవశ్యకము.

22 For Moses indeed said to the fathers, 'The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.మోషే యిట్లనెనుప్రభువైన దేవుడు నావంటి యొక ప్రవక్తను మీ సహోదరులలో నుండి మీకొరకు పుట్టించును; ఆయన మీతో ఏమి చెప్పినను అన్ని విషయములలో మీరాయన మాట విన వలెను.

23 It will be, that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.'ఆ ప్రవక్త మాట విననివాడు ప్రజలలో ఉండకుండ సర్వనాశనమగుననెను.

24 Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have spoken, they also told of these days.మరియు సమూయేలు మొదలుకొని యెందరు ప్రవక్తలు ప్రవచించిరో వారందరు ఈ దినమునుగూర్చి ప్రకటించిరి.

25 You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'In your seed will all the families of the earth be blessed.'ఆ ప్రవక్తలకును, దేవుడు అబ్రాహాముతో నీ సంతానమందు భూలోక వంశములన్నియు ఆశీర్వదింపబడునని చెప్పి మీ పితరులతో చేసిన నిబంధనకును, మీరు వారసులై యున్నారు.

26 God, having raised up his servant, Jesus, sent him to you first, to bless you, in turning away everyone of you from your wickedness."దేవుడు తన సేవకుని పుట్టించి, మీలో ప్రతివానిని వాని దుష్టత్వమునుండి మళ్లించుటవలన మిమ్ము నాశీర్వదించుటకు ఆయనను మొదట మీయొద్దకు పంపెనని చెప్పెను.
