అమ్మోనీయులును మోయాబీయులును శేయీరు మన్యనివాసులను బొత్తిగా చంపి నిర్మూలము చేయవలెనని పొంచియుండి వారిమీద పడిరి; వారు శేయీరు కాపురస్థులను కడముట్టించిన తరువాత తమలో ఒకరి నొకరు చంపుకొనుటకు మొదలుపెట్టిరి.

For the children	וַ֠יַּֽעַמְדוּ	wayyaʿamdû	VA-ya-am-doo
of Ammon	בְּנֵ֨י	bĕnê	beh-NAY
and Moab	עַמּ֧וֹן	ʿammôn	AH-mone
stood up	וּמוֹאָ֛ב	ûmôʾāb	oo-moh-AV
against	עַל	ʿal	al
the inhabitants	יֹֽשְׁבֵ֥י	yōšĕbê	yoh-sheh-VAY
of mount	הַר	har	hahr
Seir,	שֵׂעִ֖יר	śēʿîr	say-EER
utterly to slay	לְהַֽחֲרִ֣ים	lĕhaḥărîm	leh-ha-huh-REEM
destroy and	וּלְהַשְׁמִ֑יד	ûlĕhašmîd	oo-leh-hahsh-MEED
end an made had they when and them:	וּכְכַלּוֹתָם֙	ûkĕkallôtām	oo-heh-ha-loh-TAHM
inhabitants the of	בְּיֽוֹשְׁבֵ֣י	bĕyôšĕbê	beh-yoh-sheh-VAY
of Seir,	שֵׂעִ֔יר	śēʿîr	say-EER
every one	עָֽזְר֥וּ	ʿāzĕrû	ah-zeh-ROO
helped	אִישׁ	ʾîš	eesh
to destroy	בְּרֵעֵ֖הוּ	bĕrēʿēhû	beh-ray-A-hoo
another.	לְמַשְׁחִֽית׃	lĕmašḥît	leh-mahsh-HEET
