1 Samuel 25:26
నా యేలినవాడా, యెహోవా జీవముతోడు నీ జీవముతోడు ప్రాణహాని చేయకుండ యెహోవా నిన్ను ఆపియున్నాడు. నీ చెయ్యి నిన్ను సంరక్షించెనన్నమాట నిజమని యెహోవా జీవముతోడు నీ జీవముతోడు అని ప్రమాణము చేయు చున్నాను. నీ శత్రువులును నా యేలినవాడవైన నీకు కీడు చేయనుద్దేశించు వారును నాబాలువలె ఉందురు గాక.

| withholden hath | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| thee from coming | מִבּ֣וֹא | mibbôʾ | MEE-boh |
| blood, shed to | בְדָמִ֔ים | bĕdāmîm | veh-da-MEEM |
| and from avenging | וְהוֹשֵׁ֥עַ | wĕhôšēaʿ | veh-hoh-SHAY-ah |
| hand, own thine with thyself | יָֽדְךָ֖ | yādĕkā | ya-deh-HA |
| now | לָ֑ךְ | lāk | lahk |
| enemies, thine let | וְעַתָּ֗ה | wĕʿattâ | veh-ah-TA |
| and they that seek | יִֽהְי֤וּ | yihĕyû | yee-heh-YOO |
| evil | כְנָבָל֙ | kĕnābāl | heh-na-VAHL |
| to | אֹֽיְבֶ֔יךָ | ʾōyĕbêkā | oh-yeh-VAY-ha |
| my lord, | וְהַֽמְבַקְשִׁ֥ים | wĕhambaqšîm | veh-hahm-vahk-SHEEM |
