உத்தமர்களை மோசப்படுத்தி, பொல்லாத வழியிலே நடத்துகிறவன் தான் வெட்டின குழியில் தானே விழுவான்; உத்தமர்களோ நன்மையைச் சுதந்தரிப்பார்கள்.

Whoso causeth the righteous	יְשָׁרִ֨ים׀	yāšār	ya-SHAHR
way,	בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ	derek	deh-REK
in an evil	רָ֗ע	raʿ	ra
into his own pit:	בִּשְׁחוּת֥וֹ	šĕḥût	sheh-HOOT
himself	הֽוּא	hûʾ	hoo
he shall fall	יִפּ֑וֹל	nāpal	na-FAHL
but the upright	וּ֝תְמִימִ֗ים	tāmîm	ta-MEEM
in possession.	יִנְחֲלוּ	nāḥal	na-HAHL
shall have good	טֽוֹב׃	ṭôb	tove
