וַיֹּ֤אמֶר unto va-YOH-mer אֲלֵיהֶם֙ And uh-lay-HEM יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ Joshua yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah אַל not, al תִּֽירְא֖וּ them, tee-reh-OO וְאַל Fear veh-AL תֵּחָ֑תּוּ nor tay-HA-too חִזְק֣וּ be heez-KOO וְאִמְצ֔וּ dismayed, veh-eem-TSOO כִּ֣י be kee כָ֗כָה strong HA-ha יַֽעֲשֶׂ֤ה courage: ya-uh-SEH יְהוָה֙ good yeh-VA לְכָל of leh-HAHL אֹ֣יְבֵיכֶ֔ם and OH-yeh-vay-HEM אֲשֶׁ֥ר for uh-SHER אַתֶּ֖ם thus ah-TEM נִלְחָמִ֥ים do neel-ha-MEEM אוֹתָֽם׃ shall oh-TAHM
