וַיַּמְרוּ they va-yahm-ROO בִ֗י rebelled vee וְלֹ֤א not veh-LOH אָבוּ֙ against ah-VOO לִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ me, leesh-MOH-ah אֵלַ֔י and ay-LAI אִ֣ישׁ would eesh אֶת hearken et שִׁקּוּצֵ֤י unto shee-koo-TSAY עֵֽינֵיהֶם֙ every ay-nay-HEM לֹ֣א man loh הִשְׁלִ֔יכוּ heesh-LEE-hoo וְאֶת abominations veh-ET גִּלּוּלֵ֥י the ɡee-loo-LAY מִצְרַ֖יִם eyes, meets-RA-yeem לֹ֣א their loh עָזָ֑בוּ of ah-ZA-voo וָאֹמַ֞ר not va-oh-MAHR לִשְׁפֹּ֧ךְ did leesh-POKE חֲמָתִ֣י they huh-ma-TEE עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם me: uh-lay-HEM לְכַלּ֤וֹת away leh-HA-lote אַפִּי֙ cast ah-PEE בָּהֶ֔ם idols ba-HEM בְּת֖וֹךְ the beh-TOKE אֶ֥רֶץ of EH-rets מִצְרָֽיִם׃ Egypt: meets-RA-yeem
