וַיַּמְרוּ rebelled va-yahm-ROO בִ֨י But vee בֵֽית the vate יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל house yees-ra-ALE בַּמִּדְבָּ֗ר of ba-meed-BAHR בְּחֻקּוֹתַ֨י Israel beh-hoo-koh-TAI לֹא wilderness: loh הָלָ֜כוּ the ha-LA-hoo וְאֶת in veh-ET מִשְׁפָּטַ֣י me meesh-pa-TAI מָאָ֗סוּ against ma-AH-soo אֲשֶׁר֩ statutes, uh-SHER יַעֲשֶׂ֨ה my ya-uh-SEH אֹתָ֤ם in oh-TAHM הָֽאָדָם֙ not ha-ah-DAHM וָחַ֣י walked va-HAI בָּהֶ֔ם they ba-HEM וְאֶת veh-ET שַׁבְּתֹתַ֖י my sha-beh-toh-TAI חִלְּל֣וּ judgments, hee-leh-LOO מְאֹ֑ד and meh-ODE וָאֹמַ֞ר they va-oh-MAHR לִשְׁפֹּ֨ךְ despised leesh-POKE חֲמָתִ֧י which huh-ma-TEE עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם do, uh-lay-HEM בַּמִּדְבָּ֖ר a ba-meed-BAHR לְכַלּוֹתָֽם׃ man leh-ha-loh-TAHM
