Proverbs 8 - YLT (Punjabi)

1 Doth not wisdom call? And understanding give forth her voice?ਸਿਆਣਪ, ਇੱਕ ਨੇਕ ਔਰਤ ਕੀ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਰਦੀ? ਕੀ ਸਮਝਦਾਰੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਉੱਠਾਉਂਦੀ?

2 At the head of high places by the way, Between the paths she hath stood,ਸਿਆਣਪ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਦੀ ਟੀਸੀ ਤੇ ਖਲੋਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ।

3 At the side of the gates, at the mouth of the city, The entrance of the openings, she crieth aloud,ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕਾਂ ਤੇ, ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਰਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

4 `Unto you, O men, I call, And my voice `is' unto the sons of men.ਮੈਂ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹਾਂ, “ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਇਨਸਾਨੋ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਉੱਠਾਉਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ।

5 Understand, ye simple ones, prudence, And ye fools, understand the heart,ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭੌਲੇ, ਲੋਕੋ, ਸਮਝ ਸਿੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੂਰੱਖੋ, ਅਕਲਮੰਦੀ ਸਿੱਖੋ।

6 Hearken, for noble things I speak, And the opening of my lips `is' uprightness.ਸੁਣੋ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਾ ਰਹੀ ਹਾਂ ਉਚਿਤ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੁਲ੍ਹ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਧਰਮੀ ਹੈ।

7 For truth doth my mouth utter, And an abomination to my lips `is' wickedness.ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੱਚ ਨਿਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੁਲ੍ਹ ਬਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

8 In righteousness `are' all the sayings of my mouth, Nothing in them is froward and perverse.ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸਹੀ ਨੇ। ਰਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਝੂਠ ਜਾਂ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ।

9 All of them `are' plain to the intelligent, And upright to those finding knowledge.ਸਿੱਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਧਰਮੀ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਗਿਆਨ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਸਮਝ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਹੀ ਹਨ।

10 Receive my instruction, and not silver, And knowledge rather than choice gold.ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਮੇਰਾ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਲਵੋ, ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਸਮਝਦਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣੋ।

11 For better `is' wisdom than rubies, Yea, all delights are not comparable with it.ਬੁੱਧ ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੋ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਉੱਤਮ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੀ।

12 I, wisdom, have dwelt with prudence, And a knowledge of devices I find out.ਸਿਆਣਪ ਕੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ “ਮੈਂ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਓਥੋਂ ਲੱਭਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸੂਝ ਵੱਸਦੀ ਹੈ।

13 The fear of Jehovah `is' to hate evil; Pride, and arrogance, and an evil way, And a froward mouth, I have hated.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਨਾ ਬਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਹੰਕਾਰ, ਆਕੜ, ਬਦ, ਵਿਹਾਰ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ।

14 Mine `is' counsel and substance, I `am' understanding, I have might.ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਲਾਹ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆਨ, ਸਮਝਦਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੈ।

15 By me kings reign, and princes decree righteousness,ਮੈਥੋਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸ਼ਾਸਕ ਹੁਕਮ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਨਿਆਂਈ ਹਨ।

16 By me do chiefs rule, and nobles, All judges of the earth.ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਜਾਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਸੱਜਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਿਆਂਈ ਵੀ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ।

17 I love those loving me, And those seeking me earnestly do find me.ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਪਿਆਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਰਦੇ। ਤੇ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਕਠਨ ਘਾਲਣਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ।

18 Wealth and honour `are' with me, Lasting substance and righteousness.ਪਾਸ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੌਲਤ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ, ਮੈਂ ਦੌਲਤ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮੀਅਤਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

19 Better `is' my fruit than gold, even fine gold, And mine increase than choice silver.ਮੇਰੇ ਫ਼ਲ ਖਾਲਸ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੈ।

20 In a path of righteousness I cause to walk, In midst of paths of judgment,ਮੈਂ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਧਰਮੀਅਤਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਚਲਦੀ ਹਾਂ।

21 To cause my lovers to inherit substance, Yea, their treasures I fill.ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੌਲਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਕਰਨ ਪਿਆਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਭਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਗੋਦਾਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ।

22 Jehovah possessed me -- the beginning of His way, Before His works since then.“ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਮਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵੇਲੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ।

23 From the age I was anointed, from the first, From former states of the earth.ਮੈਂ ਲੰਘ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਉਮਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਜੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

24 In there being no depths, I was brought forth, In there being no fountains heavy `with' waters,ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਗਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੋ, ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੋ।

25 Before mountains were sunk, Before heights, I was brought forth.ਮੈਂ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

26 While He had not made the earth, and out-places, And the top of the dusts of the world.ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਜੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਜਾਂ ਇਸਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਧੂੜ ਸੀ।

27 In His preparing the heavens I `am' there, In His decreeing a circle on the face of the deep,ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਾਂ ਮੈਂ, ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਾਂ ਮੈਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ, ਖਿੱਚੀ ਸੀ ਲੀਕ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਤੇ ਹੱਦ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਸਾਗਰ ਦੀ।

28 In His strengthening clouds above, In His making strong fountains of the deep,ਜੰਮੀ ਸਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਰੱਖੇ ਸਨ ਬੱਦਲ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ। ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ।

29 In His setting for the sea its limit, And the waters transgress not His command, In His decreeing the foundations of earth,ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਾਂ ਮੈਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਕਿ ਉੱਠ ਨਾ ਸੱਕੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਚੇਰਾ ਓਸਤੋਂ ਉਤੇ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ। ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਦੋਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਰੱਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਨੀਹਾਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ।

30 Then I am near Him, a workman, And I am a delight -- day by day. Rejoicing before Him at all times,ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਉਸਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਸੀ, ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ।

31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth, And my delights `are' with the sons of men.ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਸਾਂ।

32 And now, ye sons, hearken to me, Yea, happy are they who keep my ways.“ਹੁਣ, ਬਚਿਓ, ਸੁਣੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ, ਕੰਨ ਧਰਕੇ! ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੱਲੋਂਗੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ!

33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and slight not.ਮੇਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਬਣ ਜਾਓ, ਇਸਦੀ ਲਾਪਰਵਾਹੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।

34 O the happiness of the man hearkening to me, To watch at my doors day by day, To watch at the door-posts of my entrance.ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ। ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹਰ ਦਿਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਉੱਤੇ। ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਉੱਤੇ।

35 For whoso is finding me, hath found life, And bringeth out good-will from Jehovah.ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ, ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਓਹ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ, ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਮਿਹਰ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਾਸੋਂ!

36 And whoso is missing me, is wronging his soul, All hating me have loved death!ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ’ਚ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ, ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ।”
