Proverbs 30 - YLT (Punjabi)

1 Words of a Gatherer, son of an obedient one, the declaration, an affirmation of the man: -- I have wearied myself `for' God, I have wearied myself `for' God, and am consumed.ਯਾਕਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਗੂਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਆਣਿਆਂ ਕਹਾਉਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅਗੂਰ ਯਾਕਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼: ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਸੱਕਣ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੋਵਾਂ।

2 For I am more brutish than any one, And have not the understanding of a man.ਮੈਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਬੇਵਕੂਫ਼ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

3 Nor have I learned wisdom, Yet the knowledge of Holy Ones I know.ਮੈਂ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਕਿੰਝ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

4 Who went up to heaven, and cometh down? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound waters in a garment? Who established all ends of the earth? What `is' His name? and what His son's name? Surely thou knowest!ਕੌਣ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤਾਈਂ ਜਾਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਇਆ? ਕਿਸਨੇ ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ? ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੋਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ? ਕਿਸਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ? ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਹੈ? ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਹੈ? ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ!

5 Every saying of God `is' tried, A shield He `is' to those trusting in Him.ਹਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਦੋਸ਼ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

6 Add not to His words, lest He reason with thee, And thou hast been found false.ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਰਸਾਏ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ।

7 Two things I have asked from Thee, Withhold not from me before I die.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਦੋ ਉਪਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ।

8 Vanity and a lying word put far from me, Poverty or wealth give not to me, Cause me to eat the bread of my portion,ਝੂਠ ਨਾ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਅਮੀਰ ਬਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

9 Lest I become satiated, and have denied, And have said, `Who `is' Jehovah?' And lest I be poor, and have stolen, And have laid hold of the name of my God.ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਅਮੀਰ ਹੋਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਪੁੱਛਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਨਾਹੀ ਇੰਨਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰੀ ਲਿਆਵਾਂ।

10 Accuse not a servant unto his lord, Lest he disesteem thee, and thou be found guilty.ਇੱਕ ਨੌਕਰ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੋਲ ਅਲੋਚਨਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ।

11 A generation `is', that lightly esteemeth their father, And their mother doth not bless.ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਉ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਢਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ।

12 A generation -- pure in their own eyes, But from their own filth not washed.ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਏ ਹੁੰਦੇ।

13 A generation -- how high are their eyes, Yea, their eyelids are lifted up.ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਝਿੰਮਣੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

14 A generation -- swords `are' their teeth, And knives -- their jaw-teeth, To consume the poor from earth, And the needy from `among' men.ਕਈਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੰਦ ਚਾਕੂ ਵਰਗੇ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਟਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਜੜੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾੜ ਸੱਕਣ ਜਾਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਮੰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਸੱਕਣ।

15 To the leech `are' two daughters, `Give, give, Lo, three things are not satisfied, Four have not said `Sufficiency;'ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਚੀਜ਼ ਲੈ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਹੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਓ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਓ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਓ।” ਤਿੰਨ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ — ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਕਦੇ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ:

16 Sheol, and a restrained womb, Earth -- it `is' not satisfied `with' water, And fire -- it hath not said, `Sufficiency,'ਕਬਰ, ਬਾਂਝ ਕੁੱਖ, ਧਰਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਲਈ ਪਿਆਸੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਗਰਮ ਅੱਗ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਦੀ “ਬਸ।”

17 An eye that mocketh at a father, And despiseth to obey a mother, Dig it out do ravens of the valley, And eat it do young eagles.ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਓਨੀ ਹੀ ਬੁਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਉਸ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਗਿਰਝਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਖਾ ਲਈਆਂ ਹੋਣ।

18 Three things have been too wonderful for me, Yea, four that I have not known:ਤਿੰਨ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਰਹੱਸ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਚੌਥੀ ਗੱਲ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝ ਸੱਕਿਆ।

19 The way of the eagle in the heavens, The way of a serpent on a rock, The way of a ship in the heart of the sea, And the way of a man in youth.ਇੱਕ ਬਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਉੱਡਣ ਦਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ, ਇੱਕ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੱਪ ਦਾ ਘਿਸਰਨਾ, ਜਹਾਜ ਦਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਜਵਾਨ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਣਾ।

20 So -- the way of an adulterous woman, She hath eaten and hath wiped her mouth, And hath said, `I have not done iniquity.'ਇੱਕ ਬਦਕਾਰ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਇਹ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਖਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਪੂੰਝਕੇ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ: “ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ!”

21 For three things hath earth been troubled, And for four -- it is not able to bear:ਤਿੰਨ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਿੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਥੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਹਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦੀ:

22 For a servant when he reigneth, And a fool when he is satisfied with bread,ਇੱਕ ਨੌਕਰ ਜੋ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣੇ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਖ ਜਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇ,

23 For a hated one when she ruleth, And a maid-servant when she succeedeth her mistress.ਇੱਕ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਔਰਤ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੋਕਰਾਣੀ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਲਕਣ ਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਲੈ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

24 Four `are' little ones of earth, And they are made wiser than the wise:ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਚਾਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਸਿਆਣਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿਆਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ:

25 The ants `are' a people not strong, And they prepare in summer their food,ਕੀੜੀਆਂ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਤਕੜੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

26 Conies `are' a people not strong, And they place in a rock their house,ਬਿੱਜੂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਚੱਟਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

27 A king there is not to the locust, And it goeth out -- each one shouting,ਟਿੱਡੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਪਰ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਡਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

28 A spider with two hands taketh hold, And is in the palaces of a king.ਕਿਰਲੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਫ਼ੜੀ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਮਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

29 Three there are going well, Yea, four are good in going:ਤਿੰਨ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਾਲ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ; ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਚਾਲਾ ਚਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

30 An old lion -- mighty among beasts, That turneth not back from the face of any,ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਦਾ।

31 A girt one of the loins, or a he-goat, And a king -- no rising up with him.ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਕੁਕੜ, ਇੱਕ ਬੱਕਰਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਰਾਜਾ।

32 If thou hast been foolish in lifting up thyself, And if thou hast devised evil -- hand to mouth!ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੂਰਖ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਮੰਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੇ ਚਪੇੜ ਮਾਰੋ।

33 For the churning of milk bringeth out butter, And the wringing of the nose bringeth out blood, And the forcing of anger bringeth out strife!ਰਿੜਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਦੁੱਧ ਮੱਖਣ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਨੱਕ ਤੇ ਮੁੱਕੀ ਮਾਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਖੂਨ ਵਗਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
