Proverbs 23
26 -17- ਮੇਰੇ ਬੇਟੇ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਬਣਾਵੋ।
27 ਵੇਸਵਾ ਇੱਕ ਡੰਘਾ ਟੋਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਾਈ ਔਰਤ ਇੱਕ ਤੰਗ ਖੂਹੀ ਹੈ।
28 ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਡਕੈਤ ਵਾਂਗ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਦਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
27 For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit.
28 She also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men.
