ਮੀਕਾਹ 7:2
ਮੇਰੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਈਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਰੇ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨੇਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ। ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੀ ਹਤਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਹਰ ਭਾਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਲ ’ਚ ਫ਼ਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

| all they | כֻּלָּם֙ | kullām | koo-LAHM |
| lie in wait | לְדָמִ֣ים | lĕdāmîm | leh-da-MEEM |
| for blood; | יֶאֱרֹ֔בוּ | yeʾĕrōbû | yeh-ay-ROH-voo |
| they hunt | אִ֥ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| man every | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| אָחִ֖יהוּ | ʾāḥîhû | ah-HEE-hoo | |
| his brother | יָצ֥וּדוּ | yāṣûdû | ya-TSOO-doo |
| with a net. | חֵֽרֶם׃ | ḥērem | HAY-rem |
