ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 10:29-42

29 Then Joshua passed from Makkedah, and all Israel with him, unto Libnah, and fought against Libnah:

30 And the Lord delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho.

31 And Joshua passed from Libnah, and all Israel with him, unto Lachish, and encamped against it, and fought against it:

32 And the Lord delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel, which took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein, according to all that he had done to Libnah.

33 Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish; and Joshua smote him and his people, until he had left him none remaining.

34 And from Lachish Joshua passed unto Eglon, and all Israel with him; and they encamped against it, and fought against it:

35 And they took it on that day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein he utterly destroyed that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.

36 And Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, unto Hebron; and they fought against it:

37 And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein.

38 And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to Debir; and fought against it:

39 And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king.

40 So Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the Lord God of Israel commanded.

41 And Joshua smote them from Kadesh-barnea even unto Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even unto Gibeon.

42 And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.

29 ਦੱਖਣੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੱਕੇਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰ ਪਏ। ਉਹ ਲਿਬਨਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Then Joshua passed from Makkedah, and all Israel with him, unto Libnah, and fought against Libnah:

30 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਸਲੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
And the Lord delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho.

31 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਿਬਨਾਹ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
And Joshua passed from Libnah, and all Israel with him, unto Lachish, and encamped against it, and fought against it:

32 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਿਬਨਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
And the Lord delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel, which took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein, according to all that he had done to Libnah.

33 ਗਜ਼ਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੋਰਾਮ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ ਪਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ।
Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish; and Joshua smote him and his people, until he had left him none remaining.

34 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਗਲੋਨ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਏਹਲੋਮ ਦੇ ਗਿਰਦ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
And from Lachish Joshua passed unto Eglon, and all Israel with him; and they encamped against it, and fought against it:

35 ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
And they took it on that day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein he utterly destroyed that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.

36 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਗਓਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
And Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, unto Hebron; and they fought against it:

37 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇੱਕ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵੀ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਗਲੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein.

38 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਦਬਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to Debir; and fought against it:

39 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਇਸਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਬਿਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੱਚਿਆ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਬਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਸਲੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king.

40 ਇੰਝ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਨੇਗੇਵ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਦੇਸ਼, ਪੂਰਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਿਆ।
So Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the Lord God of Israel commanded.

41 ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਕਾਦੇਸ਼ ਬਰਨੇਆ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੱਜ਼ਾਹ ਤੀਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ) ਗੋਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਿਬਓਨ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
And Joshua smote them from Kadesh-barnea even unto Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even unto Gibeon.

42 ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੱਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਹੇਠ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਲਈ ਲੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.
