Exodus 4:31
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਦੇਖ ਲਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਲੋਕਾ 8:13
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੀਜ ਪੱਥਰੀਲੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗੇ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੂੰਘੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਫ਼ੜਦੇ। ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰੱਖ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਿਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਗਾਈ।

ਉਪਰੰਤ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਭੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ।” ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਾਅ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਦਰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ।

ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖੋਂਗੇ, ‘ਇਹ ਪਸਾਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਦਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਘ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ।’” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਸਾਥ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ, ‘ਯਾਹਵੇਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ; ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਦੇਖਿਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।

ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 3:7
ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਝੱਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ।
