ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ।
