Numbers 26:2
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰੋ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਹੜੇ 20 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਵਡੇਰੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਸੂਚੀ ਬਣਾਉ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ।”
