ਬਾਲਾਕ ਨੇ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ? ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।”
