ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਇਕੱਠਿਆ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੂਚੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ। 20 ਸਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਵਡੇਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
