ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਸਤਰ ਪੁਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਮਖੌਲ ਉਡਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਲਾਤੁਸ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
