ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਪਿਲਾਤੁਸ ਦੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਾਲ ਕਰਨੇ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਟੋਲੀ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਲਾਤੁਸ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਗਈ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਲਾਤੁਸ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਦ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਕਯਾਫ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਗਏ। ਅਜੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਵੇਰਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
