Leviticus 20 - BBE (Punjabi)

1 And the Lord said to Moses,ਬੁੱਤ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,

2 Again, say to the children of Israel, If any man of the children of Israel, or any other man living in Israel, gives his offspring to Molech, he is certainly to be put to death: he is to be stoned by the people of the land;“ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ; ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਮੋਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਹੈ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

3 And my face will be turned against that man, and he will be cut off from his people; because he has given his offspring to Molech, making my holy place unclean, and making my holy name common.ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੀਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

4 And if the people of the land do not take note of that man when he gives his offspring to Molech, and do not put him to death,ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਧਾਰਣ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਡਿਠ ਕਰ ਦੇਣ। ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਮਾਰਨ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਮੋਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।

5 Then my face will be turned against him and his family, and he and all those who do evil with him will be cut off from among their people.ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਬਣ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਮੋਲਕ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ, ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ।

6 And whoever goes after those who make use of spirits and wonder-workers, doing evil with them, against him will my face be turned, and he will be cut off from among his people.“ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਮਸ਼ਵਰੇ ਲਈ ਭੂਤ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਿਆਣਿਆ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

7 So make and keep yourselves holy, for I am the Lord your God.“ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਾਉ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋਵੋ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾ।

8 And keep my rules and do them: I am the Lord, who make you holy.ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਨੋ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

9 Every man cursing his father or his mother is certainly to be put to death; because of his curse on his father or his mother, his blood will be on him.“ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਢਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਮਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਢੀਆਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਖੁਦ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹੈ।

10 And if a man has sex relations with another man's wife, even the wife of his neighbour, he and she are certainly to be put to death.ਜਿਨਸੀ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਜਾਵਾਂ “ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਦੁਰਾਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

11 And the man who has sex relations with his father's wife has put shame on his father: the two of them are to be put to death; their blood will be on them.ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਭ੍ਰਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਖੁਦ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹਨ।

12 And if a man has sex relations with his son's wife, the two of them are to be put to death: it is unnatural; their blood will be on them.“ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹੋਣ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਗੋਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਭੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਲਈ ਖੁਦ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹਨ।

13 And if a man has sex relations with a man, the two of them have done a disgusting thing: let them be put to death; their blood will be on them.“ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਖੁਦ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹਨ।

14 And if a man takes as wife a woman and her mother, it is an act of shame; let them be burned with fire, all three of them, so that there may be no shame among you.“ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਘ੍ਰਿਣਿਤ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਗੱਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਨਾ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦਿਉ।

15 And if a man has sex relations with a beast, let him be put to death, and let the beast be put to destruction.“ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

16 And if a woman goes near a beast and has sex relations with it, you will put an end to the woman and the beast: their blood will be on them.ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਲਈ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹੋਣ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਖੁਦ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹਨ।

17 And if a man takes his sister, daughter of his father or his mother, and has sex relations with her and she with him, it is an act of shame: they are to be cut off before the children of their people; he has had sex relations with his sister, and his sin will be on him.“ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਭਰਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਦੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ-ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਉ ਦੀ-ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਸ਼ਰਮਨਾਕ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇ ਆਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

18 And if a man has sex relations with a woman at the time when she is unwell, he has seen her fountain and she has let the fountain of her blood be uncovered, and the two of them are to be cut off from among their people.“ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਹਵਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੇਕ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਖੂਨ ਦਾ ਸੋਮਾਂ ਨੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

19 And you may not have sex connection with your mother's sister or your father's sister, for they are his near relations: their sin will be on them.“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਜਾਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਨਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ। ਇਹ ਸਗੋਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਭੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

20 And if a man has sex relations with the wife of his father's brother, he has put shame on his father's brother: their sin will be on them; till the day of their death they will have no children.“ਕਿਸੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਾਚੇ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਨਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ। ਇਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਾਚੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਾਚੇ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਬੇਔਲਾਦ ਮਰਨਗੇ।

21 And if a man takes his brother's wife, it is an unclean act; he has put shame on his brother; they will have no children.“ਕਿਸੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਦੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਗਲਤ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਭ੍ਰਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

22 So then, keep my rules and my decisions and do them, so that the land which I am giving you as your resting-place may not violently send you out again.“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਲਿਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨੋਗੇ, ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਗਲੇਗੀ।

23 And do not keep the rules of the nations which I am driving out before you; for they did all these things, and for that reason my soul was turned against them.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੀਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਚੱਲੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘ੍ਰਿਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਉਣਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।

24 But I have said to you, You will take their land and I will give it to you for your heritage, a land flowing with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God who have made you separate from all other peoples.ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਾਕੀ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

25 So then, make division between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the clean bird and the unclean: do not make yourselves disgusting by any beast or bird or anything which goes flat on the earth, which has been marked by me as unclean for you.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਲਾ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਪਛਾਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚਲਾ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਪਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ, ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੀਂਗਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਕਲੰਕਤ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

26 And you are to be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy and have made you separate from the nations, so that you may be my people.ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਲੋਕ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ।

27 Any man or woman who makes use of spirits, or who is a wonder-worker, is to be put to death: they are to be stoned with stones: their blood will be on them.“ਕੋਈ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਾਂ ਔਰਤ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਭੂਤ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਖੁਦ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ।”
