Leviticus 19:12
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ (ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਝੂਠੀ ਸਾਖੀ ਬਾਬਤ) ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਝੂਠੀ ਕਸਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।

| profane thou shalt neither | וְחִלַּלְתָּ֛ | wĕḥillaltā | veh-hee-lahl-TA |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the name | שֵׁ֥ם | šēm | shame |
| God: thy of | אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ | ʾĕlōhêkā | ay-loh-HAY-ha |
| I | אֲנִ֥י | ʾănî | uh-NEE |
