Lamentations 3 - BBE (Punjabi)

1 I am the man who has seen trouble by the rod of his wrath.ਤਸੀਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਸੇ (ਰਾਜ ਦੰਡ) ਨਾਲ ਕੁਟਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ!

2 By him I have been made to go in the dark where there is no light.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ।

3 Truly against me his hand has been turned again and again all the day.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਦ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹੀ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

4 My flesh and my skin have been used up by him and my bones broken.ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਚਮੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਸ ਉਧੇੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।

5 He has put up a wall against me, shutting me in with bitter sorrow.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੁੜਤ੍ਤਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ।

6 He has kept me in dark places, like those who have been long dead.ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਹਿਲੋਂ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।

7 He has put a wall round me, so that I am not able to go out; he has made great the weight of my chain.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਰੀ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।

8 Even when I send up a cry for help, he keeps my prayer shut out.ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਰੋਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ।

9 He has put up a wall of cut stones about my ways, he has made my roads twisted.ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਥਰ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਗ-ਤਲਿੰਗਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

10 He is like a bear waiting for me, like a lion in secret places.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਇੱਕ ਰਿੱਛ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਛੁਪੀ ਹੋਈ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ।

11 By him my ways have been turned on one side and I have been pulled in bits; he has made me waste.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਭਟਕਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਟੁਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾੜ ਸੁੱਟਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

12 With his bow bent, he has made me the mark for his arrows.ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਮਾਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਲਈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ।

13 He has let loose his arrows into the inmost parts of my body.ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੇਟ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੀਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ।

14 I have become the sport of all the peoples; I am their song all the day.ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ। ਉਹ, ਮੇਰਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ।

15 He has made my life nothing but pain, he has given me the bitter root in full measure.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ (ਸਜ਼ਾ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਕੌੜੇ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

16 By him my teeth have been broken with crushed stones, and I am bent low in the dust.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰੋੜ ਚਬਵਾਏ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧੂੜ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਿੱਧ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

17 My soul is sent far away from peace, I have no more memory of good.ਮੈਂ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਮੈਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਿਆ।

18 And I said, My strength is cut off, and my hope from the Lord.ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੁਣ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।”

19 Keep in mind my trouble and my wandering, the bitter root and the poison.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਟਕਣ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰੋ। ਉਸ ਕੌੜੀ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।

20 My soul still keeps the memory of them; and is bent down in me.ਮੈਨੂੰ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਾਦ ਨੇ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ।

21 This I keep in mind, and because of this I have hope.ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਹੈ:

22 It is through the Lord's love that we have not come to destruction, because his mercies have no limit.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਤਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕਦੀ।

23 They are new every morning; great is your good faith.ਹਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੇਂ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਹੋ।

24 I said to myself, The Lord is my heritage; and because of this I will have hope in him.ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”

25 The Lord is good to those who are waiting for him, to the soul which is looking for him.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਨੇਕ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਨੇਕ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

26 It is good to go on hoping and quietly waiting for the salvation of the Lord.ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦਾ, ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

27 It is good for a man to undergo the yoke when he is young.ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਜੂਲਾ ਪਹਿਨਣਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਈ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਜੂਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਨਣਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ।

28 Let him be seated by himself, saying nothing, because he has put it on him.ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ ਬੈਠਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੂਲਾ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਵੇ।

29 Let him put his mouth in the dust, if by chance there may be hope.ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਚਿਹਰ ਧਰਤ ਵੱਲ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਝੁਕਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੋਵੇ।

30 Let his face be turned to him who gives him blows; let him be full of shame.ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੂਸਰੀ ਗੱਲ੍ਹ ਵੀ, ਬੱਪੜ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਲ ਭੁਆ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਹੋ ਲੈਣ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

31 For the Lord does not give a man up for ever.ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਿਆਗਦਾ।

32 For though he sends grief, still he will have pity in the full measure of his love.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਰਹਿਮ ਵੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਰਤਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੈ।

33 For he has no pleasure in troubling and causing grief to the children of men.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ-ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ।

34 In a man's crushing under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ: ਉਹ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਜਣਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੰਦੀਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਕੁਚਲ ਦੇਵੇ।

35 In his turning away the right of a man before the face of the Most High.ਉਹ ਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭ੍ਰਸ਼ਟ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ। ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਸਰਬ ਉੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇਹ ਬਦ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

36 In his doing wrong to a man in his cause, the Lord has no pleasure.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇਵੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।

37 Who is able to say a thing, and give effect to it, if it has not been ordered by the Lord?ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵਾਪਰ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ।

38 Do not evil and good come from the mouth of the Most High?ਸਰਬ-ਉੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾੜੀਆਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

39 What protest may a living man make, even a man about the punishment of his sin?ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜੀਵਿਤ ਬੰਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

40 Let us make search and put our ways to the test, turning again to the Lord;ਆਓ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਖੀਏ ਕਿ ਅਸਾਂ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜ ਪਈੇ।

41 Lifting up our hearts with our hands to God in the heavens.ਆਓ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕੀਏ।

42 We have done wrong and gone against your law; we have not had your forgiveness.ਆਓ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੀਏ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੜੇ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਹੀ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ।

43 Covering yourself with wrath you have gone after us, cutting us off without pity;ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਲਪੇਟ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਭਜਾਇਆ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬੇਰਹਿਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ!

44 Covering yourself with a cloud, so that prayer may not get through.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਦਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਪੇਟ ਲਿਆ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੀਕ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸੱਕੇ।

45 You have made us like waste and that for which there is no use, among the peoples.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੂੜੇ ਕਰਕਟ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

46 The mouths of all our haters are open wide against us.ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ।

47 Fear and deep waters have come on us, wasting and destruction.ਅਸੀਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਟੋਏ ਅੰਦਰ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੱਟ ਖਾਧੀ ਹੈ! ਅਸੀਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ!”

48 Rivers of water are running down from my eyes, for the destruction of the daughter of my people.ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਿਆ ਵਗਦੇ ਨੇ! ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ!

49 My eyes are streaming without stopping, they have no rest,ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਰੁਕੇ ਵਗਣਗੀਆਂ! ਮੈਂ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ!

50 Till the Lord's eye is turned on me, till he sees my trouble from heaven.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ, ਮੈਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਰੋਦਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੱਕਦੇ। ਮੈਂ ਰੋਦਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ!

51 The Lord is unkind to my soul, more than all the daughters of my town.ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗ਼ਮਗੀਨ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਹੈ।

52 They who are against me without cause have gone hard after me as if I was a bird;ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਪੰਛੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਮੇਰਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।

53 They have put an end to my life in the prison, stoning me with stones.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਟੋਏ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਹਾਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਸੁੱਟੇ।

54 Waters were flowing over my head; I said, I am cut off.ਪਾਣੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੀਕ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।”

55 I was making prayer to your name, O Lord, out of the lowest prison.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ, ਮੈਂ ਟੋਏ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਾਮ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ।

56 My voice came to you; let not your ear be shut to my breathing, to my cry.ਮੇਰੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ, ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨ ਨਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰ।

57 You came near in the day when I made my prayer to you: you said, Have no fear.ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਾ ਹੋ।”

58 O Lord, you have taken up the cause of my soul, you have made my life safe.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆ।

59 O Lord, you have seen my wrong; be judge in my cause.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰ।

60 You have seen all the evil rewards they have sent on me, and all their designs against me.ਵੇਖ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਬਦ ਵਿਉਂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ, ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ।

61 Their bitter words have come to your ears, O Lord, and all their designs against me;ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਉਂਤਾਂ ਸੁਣੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਨੇ।

62 The lips of those who came up against me, and their thoughts against me all the day.ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਨ।

63 Take note of them when they are seated, and when they get up; I am their song.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਵੇਖ ਉੱਠਦੇ-ਬੈਠਦੇ ਉਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

64 You will give them their reward, O Lord, answering to the work of their hands.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਵੋ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ! ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈ!

65 You will let their hearts be covered over with your curse on them.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪ ਦਿਓ।

66 You will go after them in wrath, and put an end to them from under the heavens of the Lord.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਜਾ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇ! ਹ ਕਰ ਦੇ!
