Lamentations 2:6

Lamentations 1:4
ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ। ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੇ ਯਮੂਹ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਨੇ। ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਆਹਾਂ ਭਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਟਿਆਰਾਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਲਈ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਹੈ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜ਼ਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਆਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਦਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਰਸਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

ਰਾਜਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸਾਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਿਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਛਾਵੇਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਹਾਂਗੇ। ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।”
Jeremiah 52:11
ਫ਼ਿਰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ੰਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ। ਬਾਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦਖਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਉਸ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਰਨ ਤੀਕ ਰਿਹਾ।
Isaiah 64:11

Isaiah 1:8
ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹੁਣ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਖਣੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਕਕੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੱਡੀ ਹੋਈ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਝੁਗ੍ਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਘਿਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ।
Psalm 89:40
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
Psalm 80:12
