Judges 13 - BBE (Punjabi)

1 And the children of Israel again did evil in the eyes of the Lord; and the Lord gave them into the hands of the Philistines for forty years.ਸਮਸੂਠ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਦ ਮੰਨੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ 40 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਲਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

2 Now there was a certain man of Zorah of the family of the Danites, and his name was Manoah; and his wife had never given birth to a child.ਉੱਥੇ ਸਾਰਾਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਤਨੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਔਲਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

3 And the angel of the Lord came to the woman, and said to her, See now! though you have never given birth to children, you will be with child and give birth to a son.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੇਰੀ ਹਾਲੇ ਤੀਕ ਔਲਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਂਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਵੇਂਗੀ।

4 Now then take care to have no wine or strong drink and to take no unclean thing for food;ਕੋਈ ਮੈਅ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਾ ਪੀਵੀਂ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਹੈ।

5 For you are with child and will give birth to a son; his hair is never to be cut, for the child is to be separate to God from his birth; and he will take up the work of freeing Israel from the hands of the Philistines.ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਵੇਂਗੀ। ਉਹ ਖਾਸ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਨਜ਼ੀਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਾਲ ਨਾ ਕੱਟੀ। ਉਹ ਜੰਮਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ।”

6 Then the woman came in, and said to her husband, A man came to me, and his form was like the form of a god, causing great fear; I put no question to him about where he came from, and he did not give me his name;ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਕੋਲ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ।

7 But he said to me, You are with child and will give birth to a son; and now do not take any wine or strong drink or let anything unclean be your food; for the child will be separate to God from his birth to the day of his death.ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਤੂੰ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਵੇਂਗੀ। ਕੋਈ ਮੈਅ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਾ ਪੀਵੀਂ। ਕੋਈ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੜਕਾ ਖਾਸ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਲੜਕਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੀਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।’”

8 Then Manoah made prayer to the Lord, and said, O Lord, let the man of God whom you sent come to us again and make clear to us what we are to do for the child who is to come.ਤਾਂ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜੋ। ਅਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਿੱਖਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਲੜਕੇ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਕਰੀਏ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।”

9 And God gave ear to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came to the woman again when she was seated in the field; but her husband Manoah was not with her.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਔਰਤ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਖੇਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੈਠੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

10 So the woman, running quickly, gave her husband the news, saying, I have seen the man who came to me the other day.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਭੱਜਕੇ ਦੱਸਣ ਗਈ, “ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ! ਉਹੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਿੱਛਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਹੈ!”

11 And Manoah got up and went after his wife, and came up to the man and said to him, Are you the man who was talking to this woman? And he said, I am.ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਉੱਠ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ-ਪਿੱਛੇ ਗਿਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਕੋਲ ਅਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਹੈਂ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ?” ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ।”

12 And Manoah said, Now when your words come true, what is to be the rule for the child and what will be his work?ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਉਹੀ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੜਕਾ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ? ਉਹ ਕੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ?”

13 And the angel of the Lord said to Manoah, Let the woman take note of what I have said to her.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੇਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

14 She is to have nothing which comes from the vine for her food, and let her take no wine or strong drink or anything which is unclean; let her take care to do all I have given her orders to do.ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਜੋ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਵੇਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਅ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।”

15 And Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, Now let us keep you while we make ready a young goat for you.ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੁਝ ਚਿਰ ਠਹਿਰੋ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਭੋਜਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਕਰਾ ਰਿੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।”

16 And the angel of the Lord said to Manoah, Though you keep me I will not take of your food; but if you will make a burned offering, let it be offered to the Lord. For it had not come into Manoah's mind that he was the angel of the Lord.ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕੇਂਗਾ ਵੀ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ।” (ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਸੀ।)

17 Then Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, What is your name, so that when your words come true we may give you honour?ਤਾਂ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਹੈ? ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਵਾਪਰ ਜਾਣ, ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੀਏ!”

18 But the angel of the Lord said to him, Why are you questioning me about my name, seeing that it is a wonder?ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਿਉਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਹੋਂ? ਇਹ ਗੁਪਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੈ।”

19 So Manoah took the young goat with its meal offering, offering it on the rock to the Lord, who did strange things.ਤਾਂ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਵੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

20 And when the flame went up to heaven from the altar, the angel of the Lord went up in the flame of the altar, while Manoah and his wife were looking on; and they went down on their faces to the earth.ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਜੋ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਜਿਉਂ ਹੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਉੱਠੀਆਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੋਕੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ! ਜਦੋਂ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਖਿਆ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੁਕ ਗਏ।

21 But the angel of the Lord was seen no more by Manoah and his wife. Then it was clear to Manoah that he was the angel of the Lord.ਆਖਰਕਾਰ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਆ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਹੀ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ।

22 And Manoah said to his wife, Death will certainly be our fate, for it is a god whom we have seen.ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ! ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ!”

23 But his wife said to him, If the Lord was purposing our death, he would not have taken our burned offering and our meal offering, or have given us such orders about the child.ਪਰ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ। ਜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਰਸਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਣੀਆਂ ਸਨ।”

24 So the woman gave birth to a son, and gave him the name Samson; and he became a man and the blessing of the Lord was on him.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਲੜਕਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਮਸੂਨ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਸਮਸੂਨ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

25 And the spirit of the Lord first came on him in Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਤਮੇ ਨੇ ਸਮਸੂਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰਨਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਤਾਓਲ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਮਹਨੇਹ ਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ।
