John 18:30
ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਬੁਰਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਹਾਂ।”

ਇਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਪਿਲਾਤੁਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਰੌਲਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, “ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਠਹਿਰਾਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਕੈਸਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡੇਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਸਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਤੂੰ ਕੈਸਰ ਦਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।”
Acts 3:13
ਨਹੀਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਪਿਲਾਤੁਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
