John 16 - ASV (Punjabi)

1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be caused to stumble.“ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕੇ।

2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you shall think that he offereth service unto God.ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਣਗੇ। ਹਾਂ, ਵਕਤ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਇਹ ਸੋਚਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਹੈ।

3 And these things will they do, because they have not known the Father, nor me.ਉਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ।

4 But these things have I spoken unto you, that when their hour is come, ye may remember them, how that I told you. And these things I said not unto you from the beginning, because I was with you.ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਕਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਣ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ “ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੁਢੋਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ।

5 But now I go unto him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੱਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

6 But because I have spoken these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ। ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਜਾਵਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ।

8 And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:“ਜਦੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਾਪ, ਧਾਰਮਿਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਲਤ ਹਨ।

9 of sin, because they believe not on me;ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੇ। ਉਹ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਪਾਪ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹਨ।

10 of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more;ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਧਾਰਮਿਕਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਲਤ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕੋਂਗੇ।

11 of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged.ਸਹਾਇਕ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਿਆਂੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਲਤ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ (ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ) ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ।

12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.“ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਝ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਹੈ।

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, `these' shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੱਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਆਤਮਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਹੀ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ, ਦੱਸੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ।

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall declare `it' unto you.ਸਚਿਆਈ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ। ਕਿਵੇਂ? ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

15 All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he taketh of mine, and shall declare `it' unto you.ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਪਿਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਤਮਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

16 A little while, and ye behold me no more; and again a little while, and ye shall see me.ਉਦਾਸੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ “ਥੋੜੀ ਦੇਰ ਬਾਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਰ ਬਾਦ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ।”

17 `Some' of his disciples therefore said one to another, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye behold me not; and again a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?ਕੁਝ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਕਿ, ‘ਕੁਝ ਦੇਰ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਰ ਬਾਦ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ?’ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਭਾਵ? ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ, ‘ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ?’”

18 They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? We know not what he saith.ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “‘ਥੋੜੀ ਦੇਰ’ ਤੋਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਕੀ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ? ਜੋ ਉਹ (ਯਿਸੂ) ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝੇ।”

19 Jesus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me?ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਬਤ ਕੁਝ ਪੁੱਛਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਕੀ ਚਿਰ ਬਾਦ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਥੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਚਿਰ ਬਾਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ?’

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, that ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲੇਗੀ।

21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for the joy that a man is born into the world.“ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦਰਦ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਾਰਣ, ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਬਾਲਕ ਜਨਮਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

22 And ye therefore now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one taketh away from you.ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਇਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋ। ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੇਖਾਂਗਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੋਹ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

23 And in that day ye shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say unto you, if ye shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it you in my name.ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਸਵਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੰਗੋਂਗੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be made full.ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗਿਆ। ਮੰਗੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

25 These things have I spoken unto you in dark sayings: the hour cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in dark sayings, but shall tell you plainly of the Father.ਜਗਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜਿੱਤ “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਸੰਕੇਤਕ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਸੰਕੇਤਕ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਸਗੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੜੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਾਂਗ਼ਾ।

26 In that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you;ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਗੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਪਿਤਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੰਗਾਂ।

27 for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from the Father.ਨਹੀਂ, ਪਿਤਾ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ।

28 I came out from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go unto the Father.ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।”

29 His disciples say, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no dark saying.ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਵੇਖ, ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਸੰਕੇਤਕ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ।

30 Now know we that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.ਹੁਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਹੀ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਹੈਂ।”

31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ?”

32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and `yet' I am not alone, because the Father is with me.ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ, ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਭ ਖਿੰਡ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰੀਂ ਮੁੜ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਵੋਂਗੇ। ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਆ ਹੀ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ।

33 These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace.
