Jeremiah 15:1
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂਏਲ ਵੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਣ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਭੇਜ ਦੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਦੇ।

| before | לְפָנַ֔י | lĕpānay | leh-fa-NAI |
| me, yet my mind | אֵ֥ין | ʾên | ane |
| not could | נַפְשִׁ֖י | napšî | nahf-SHEE |
| be toward | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| this | הָעָ֣ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| people: | הַזֶּ֑ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| cast out | שַׁלַּ֥ח | šallaḥ | sha-LAHK |
| of them | מֵֽעַל | mēʿal | MAY-al |
| my sight, | פָּנַ֖י | pānay | pa-NAI |
| and let them go forth. | וְיֵצֵֽאוּ׃ | wĕyēṣēʾû | veh-yay-tsay-OO |
